I have a Netgear WGR614 DSL 54mbps router for sale.

Boxed with power adaptor, cd, no ethernet cable tho.

£20 plus postage.

I'm looking at getting an external HDD and the ones with the ethernet ports are costing at least 50% more than the USB ones.

That wont work though surely....a USB port will only work to connect to PC? It is not enough to have a port, you need the software to allow file server type access - that is why ethernet ones cost so much more.

A NSLU2 would do the trick though :thumbsup:

It works fine, I currently use the BT home hub and that has a USB port which I can plug a USB HDD in or a USB memory stick, I just need to have upnp enabled on my PC

The port is only there to connect it to a PC supposedly but it works with a HDD

My livebox also has a usb port, i have used it to connect a printer, but im certain it would work for a seperate hdd.
