Where are you based?

And any pics, processor speed etc.
#2
I'm not 100% sure but it's showing Athlon 5200, the graphics is showing 512mb on a Geforce 8400.
Based in Manchester, no pics till monday probably, everything is still boxed.

Gonna need more info mate, make and model of the monitors, memory size, make etc, software etc.

Exactly my thoughts!

More importantly, how did you manage to get 3 monitors working with only one graphics card??
Had a look into this a while ago (after my dual monitor set up lost its fun) and thought you could only do it via sli?

Asus 195s 19 inch, Hannstar iF171 17inch x2, 2gb memory, make of the pc is EYE-T?, M52L-S3P motherboard,
Windows xp home sealed, Sparkle smartinstall disk, Gigabyte S series disk.
Hope this helps.

I havn't got it working, it's still SEALED BRAND NEW.

You dont need SLi - but you do need 2 graphics cards (or one and your onboard).

Running 3 (and sometimes 4) of an 8800GT & a 6600GT which aren't in SLi.

Still got the receipt? For warranty purposes etc
#10
No receipt as I took it in a p/x for 2 laptops thinking this was a quad core system.

I did try buying an old pci graphics card and using that with my pci-e but vista moaned about not being able to use them both (something to do with windows can only handle one driver so would need to be the same model)
will try and plug a third into my onboard now, not sure I've ever tried that.
what OS are you using btw?

Leave you guys to the technical jargon, lol

I'm using Vista (64-bit Home Premium).

For Vista they all need to be the same brand - be that all nVidia or ATi etc.

i have a gfx card with 4 screens output so u canjust use one card

Yeah i bought an old nvidia (310?) to use with my 7300le but it said an error, something to do with vga display adapter not compatable. My onboard is ati, got the same error when i just changed bios to boot with onboard. Ah well, not sure my bank account could handle another monitor shaped hit anyway... thanks for the reply though

Is a Athlon 5200 faster than a Pentium D 820?

The only one I can think of with that is the 4850X2 - and i'll be honest I can't see anyone putting one of them in an AMD 5200 based PC.
#18
would you split?

is the 19"tft a widescreen?
#19
Not yet, going to sit on it for awhile, do have 2 19inch benq's for sale though, fp91g+ and a fp931

hmm, i was only wanting 1 really, are these collection prices, as it will cost me about £15 to get to manchester and back, let me think about it mate
#25
No problem, I'm away till morning now most likely.
#26
You only need one graphics card - mine has dvi, hdmi and display port sockets on it - I have 2 monitors plugged into the one dvi cable through a splitter and I have proper dual screen, I can then also plug a HDMI monitor into it and works fine....
#27
Do all three become an extended display?
#28
Yes you can have up to 8 or 16, I can't remember off hand and can't seem to find on net but at least 3 works fine!
