NewApple iPhone 3GS 16gb White, boxed with warranty £245.00

Finally made it to the Apple store earlier this week so I've had my replacement iPhone.

White, 16gb...and I can only assume it's simlock matches the original, making it for use on Orange and Tmobile networks. But I will try and hunt down some other sims to try in it!

The warranty will continue until July 21st 2011 - the original iPhone's one year birthday!

The phone will come boxed (box IMEI will obviously match the previous phone) and I will provide the email from Apple store showing a replacement was made. In the box are the manuals, wall plug and usb cable. No headphones or Sim tray tool - although I've used a paperclip with no problems.

As soon as I was given the phone I put a screen protector on and put it in a Belkin black silicone case.

Not in a rush so no crazy lowball offers.

Update: have had no problems using tmobile and orange sim cards. Wish I had another sim to check if it's fully unlocked or not! Search continues!

Hi, Was the phone on t-mobile or orange before, whilst they can share the same signals, I have read that a t-mobile sim will not work in an orange locked handset (http://help.orange.co.uk/orangeuk/support/personal/517981), if you can confirm otherwise that would be great thanks. Could you please upload some pics too thanks.

Odd. It was bought on orange. Then I put a tmobile sim in and used it for 6 months on tmobile. I'll have to get some more sims to try! I will upload photos when I'm back home tonight guys.

Some clarifications:
This is a new replacement from Apple - I don't know whether 'new' or 'refurb' as the bloke was in a rush and I was happy enough to have a shiny iphone without marks on it! I have an iphone 4 now so I have not used this at all, just for checking the orange sim worked!
As for the tmobile/orange debate - The ORIGINAL phone was obtained through an Orange contract. I switched to tmobile and the sim worked fine, despite me thinking it was locked to Orange. I will try to buy some sims in poundland to try out different networks as I'm confused myself as to whether it is locked. I thought I read a thread before that Orange iphones allowed tmobile sims, and never thought about it again as my tmobile sim worked fine in it! I can't put my current tmobile sim in the 3GS as it's a micro sim.

Will have to just track down sims and update you again tomorrow or tuesday! unless anyone is happy with Orange. I did ask Orange to unlock the phone before but I never had any kind of confirmation! Wish it was straight forward to know if it's unlocked...

I can wait until tomorrow for payment as I can't post today anyway. But are you paying BT or paypal?

Am going to update main thread now as I have also used a tmobile sim with no problems now too.

I'll wait to hear what Rob says above as he was first to offer asking within the thread. But most likely it's coming your way. Have taken a few more photos!

Just an update the sale is now available again as paypal is now not an acceptable payment method.

Great phone someone go collect and pay cash...

Jon, no point having anything online for sale without accepting paypal it is the safest way to pay online for both parties.

Good luck bud...,wish it was me...will you just add that you pulled the deal not me so other members know it was not me as I still want to buy a new phone and possibly here...thanks mate.

Best of luck with your sale , she has told me she wants an iphone 4 so im out on this one

Hey, been awaiting your pm reply rather than checking here. Ive used paypal in probably 98 of my 100 feedbacks on here. All I was saying was I wanted to receive the £250 rather than paypal taking a cut. I thought paypal gift meant that but maybe not?
Would you do bank transfer instead? No probs if you found another phone. Let me know though so I can pull this from the site and advertise locally then. Good luck with your search!

Advertise it local Jon, I only went paypal as your preferred method, at the end of the day they may charge you £5 or so fee I don't know but if you wnat £250 after postage etc I suggest you advertise the phone for maybe £265 and not £245. It will make life so much easier but these are going between £180 and £280 on ebay depending on time of day and other things so I shall look there maybe.

Good luck, remember this 'a bird in the hand is worth 2 in the bush'
