Hi. Im selling my Nikon D40x, it was purchased for me as a gift, but I find it too complicated for myself, and instead have purchased a smaller compact camera.

The D40x offers 10.1MP, Nikkor 18-55mm lens, and all the usual spec.

The camera is as new, condition. All complete with leads, USB, battery, charger, instructions, software, and warranty paper work. A sandisc 1GB card is also supplied

Condition: as new, only used a few times.

As the camera is still under warranty, i will supply it with a 30 days warranty.

Any questions, please contact me.
Shipping/Payment:
I accept PayPal (to confirmed address) or cheque (allow time for clearance) or bank transfer.

im based in Plymouth (devon)

Ok, i'm in Leeds so cash on collection is out. What about recorded postage?

Also do you have feedback anywhere else like on ebay? Could you put some pictures on here with your HUKD username visible? Would you be prepared to setup ebay acution, or post first?

Hi.

As requested, I have enclosed further details:

ebay name: 123deering - currently it is 100% at 64 feedbacks (at both buying/selling)

I would send it by Royal Mail Special Delivery. If possible, to protect both parties, Paypal payment would be more suitable (as you are covered upto £ 500.00 as standard).
I have considered ebay first, although their fees for private users seems to quite high, so I thought i would try this first. Although I currently do not have any feedback on here, I am happy to answer any questions by email or phone, and will supply the nikon with a 30 day warranty.

I have some photos, although i do not know how to add them on to the listing, if you could forward me your email address, i will be happy to email them to you.

Hi, Am I missing something?
The D40X was replaced by the D60, which is available new for £260 (£290 minus £30 cashback), including a years warranty.

no stock to offer thou.....

rephrase the last comment: They are advertising stock that they do not have just to lure customers in...
#9
True, though they come in frequently (5-7days allegedly). (and even at £280 elsewhere its in stock).
It is nothing against you, you have done well to get the price you wanted :)

Prices seem to be coming down all the time. My wife purchase it as a birthday gift in Oct 08, i believed she paid £ 329.99, the memory card was supplied free

I would agree with that. Never thought I would buy a DSLR (too expensive) but got my A200 Sony for £215 , which is great value.
Will keep off the thread now :-D

sorry will have to duck out of this, i thought the x was the same for th d40 as the VR kit on the d60. Will have to keep looking for a d60 Vr deal.
