Nintendo Wii - £300 from London

Hi,

Being upfront in my title so people know. Have a brand new fully boxed Wii with Wii Sports for sale at £300.

I know - its over the RRP, but its the price they are going for unfortunately. Looking at ebay - average range is £320-£350 + P&P with some lower and some higher so thought before bothering with that will offer it to somebody to pick up for £300 cash in hand from West London...if they want it. I may be able to meet elsewhere in London.

If no interest - I may swap for a 360 Premium Package also.

Thanks

[COLOR=#8b0000]Please be advised, all buyers and sellers should satisfy themselves that either party is genuine by providing the following via PM to each other, as well as to Admin or Moderator:

2]Name and address including postcode
3]Valid e-mail address [no disposable addressessuch as @gmail or @yahoo for example].

Welcome to the forums PhoenixWright.

I strongly suggest all potential buyers and sellers take the above advice...

Thanks for that emma :)

As I am offering (and would prefer!) collection - doubt most of this will be a problem!

Same here, I can't believe someone would be so generous to a stranger.

poppy10 - will consider it. Any games with it? And how new is new - unopened?

It's probably worth mentioning that wii boxes aren't sealed.

I just felt it would be wrong to make a profit on it, although I would like the money. Going to put the money towards a Sony Handycam for my girlfriend now!

Ok if somebody can pick it up today or tomorrow - £280 for quick sale.

Last chance today before I try elsewhere

I think had anyone wanted this, you'd have sold it buy now, sorry to be blunt, just being honest. I think "elsewhere" will be best. You've less chance now that shops/stores are getting stock again, even if on a sloooooooow basis

No harm in trying. Also, I have had interest already, just nothing concrete.

I may have less chance but somebody may still want it - £100 extra rather than running around shops everyday may suit some people...it may not suit others.

I dont mind trying ebay - but dont see the harm in trying it here first at a price that is around £50 lower than what I could expect from ebay. Its not like I keep bumping it and saying things like "please buy this...why doesnt anyone want it?!?!!?!" which would be very annoying. 1 bump a day...is that so terrible?

Thanks for the extra bump :)

No harm in trying at all, just don't be surprised if no one bites from here; folks here are more for getting at same price, not paying more than they have to in the main. £100 extra maybe, but some folks can wait too; swings and roundabouts.
The £50 you speak of, some of it will get sliced up in fees, ebay, paypal etc, and tbh mate ebay is swamped with them right now.

As for bumping, i don't see you have been, and my reply was like i say, more, i hope you sell it but doubt you will here, at that price anyways. Don't forget someone did sell one at cost price the other day and had their hand bittten off. Could you not sell it at work, or to a friend of a friend of a.....?

I would love to sell it at cost price - but Ive entered a second degree and taken no extra financial support. Yes it is my own choice to do so but it doesnt change the situation. So if I can make some profit on it I will try to. I know thats a very MSE style attitude (urgh!) but it could be worse. I could be spending my days trying to scam Tesco out of 360s to sell on!! :)

Otherwise yes I have friends who would want at cost.

Yes the £50 will get eaten up but not all. There are people on this site who have said they have bought off ebay from being fed up so maybe someone will here at a cheaper price than the average on ebay.

Also, for the record (and not directed at anyone) I didnt go out with the intention of getting 2. I preordered from Game (and got my own, which I am not selling, at midnight after waiting 7 hours) and was lucky that my Woolies backup preorder came through.

You dont need to justify it :)
But to be honest, the 360 Premium is worth £280, the Wii...isnt.

And , given Nintys record, this will only go downwards in price. I would rather pay £180 from a shop in a month. The extra £100 can go towards an extra present. If I had a child, Im sure they would rather have a DS Lite now (£100) and a Wii in a month, than just a Wii now :)

You sure you have good ebay feedback? Why stall on here, and sell for £280 ? If you can get over £300 there?? :)

Good luck.

62 - 100% positive :) Not amazing but good enough surely. Different username though.

And reason for selling here - I prefer cash in hand and collected rather than paypal...which I really dislike. But without paypal there is much less interest on ebay. Would take a drop in profit for guaranteed money. Same reason a lot of people sell here before ebay.

Also nothing dodgy - Im only selling it if the person comes to collect - receipt etc will be given also.

Thanks :)
