Nintendo Wii Brand New + Games For Sale

Nintendo Wii for sale with Wii Play (including remote) and Mario Galaxy.
All brand new sealed, with receipt and in shrink wrapping as they were when they left the shop.
This is a UK PAL Wii, not an import, with 3 pin plug, bought from Dixons in mid-October and comes with all the usual contents of the box (Wii Sports etc.) as would be expected. (Can list on request)
As I mentioned it has never been opened or played with and would obviously be very suitable as a gift.
Also with the package is a separate Mario Galaxy game and a separate Wii Play game (both bought from Argos recently )complete with the Wiimote controller so you can play 2 player. Again these have never been opened or played with
As I'm sure everyone knows, Mario Galaxy is sold out at many online retailers (including Amazon and HMV) and the Wii itself and Wii Play are like hens teeth to find instock.
I bought these hoping to play them when I have time off over Christmas but unfortunately my car has had a serious breakdown (stone got in alternator belt causing it to seize taking a pulley and bracket with it at a cost of £300) and I need to sell them to balance my finances. I will have to make do with my PS2.
I would like to sell for retail price £255 collected. I would post but would need an additional £20 to cover the cost of special delivery. I could accept various forms of payment but if you wanted to use Paypal I would need an additional £10 to cover the cost.
Obviously if you could collect (I am in south Lincolnshire, between Peterborough and Spalding) about 30 minutes from the A1 and pay by a means that wouldn't cost me anything that would be ideal.
I'm not looking for any offers or swaps thanks nor am I looking to split the package really.
I'm sure I will be told that this is a terrible deal (which it would be if the items were instock) and that I am a scumbag so apologies for not being able to offer at under cost price but I really need to get my money back.
Though these are sought after games (and not typical undesirable Wii bundle fare) and you wont find them in the shops at much less than retail price anyway so I don't think the price is entirely crazy. It may help someone who is struggling to find one elsewhere and I'm fairly sure is less than they would make separately on Ebay.
I am a registered Ebay user with 750+ positive feedback & also Paypal and could obviously supply personal numbers to re-assure any buyer.
Hopefully I am not breaking any rules but I thought I would offer on here first.
Picture to follow shortly.

I don't think that is a bad price at all really. Shame I can't afford it or I would be coming to collect!

good deal mate i have one for sale too lol

Doesn't seem to have been too much interest in this and I'm getting so I shall soon need to sort something out so shall have to end this tonight and sell elsewhere (ebay or local free-ads/papers) if no-one wants it.
I will of course post to say when it has been withdrawn and wont list for sale elsewhere whilst for sale here.
The lowest I could possibly go for the whole lot (inc. Wii Play (with Wiimote), Galaxy and the Wii itself) would be £250 collected. There may be cheaper bundles available if you can find them instock and I realise that. But these games would sell fine individually at around retail price if need be, everything is new and I wouldn't want to reduce the price further.
If worst came to worst I'd sell the games, borrow some money from family and keep the Wii!
#6
If you do decide to split, I will offer you £40 for the Wii play with remote, delivered.
#7
Thanks for the very fair offer, but I think I'll try to stick with it as a package for the moment thanks. I just think it is a bit more desirable with the extra Wiimote and I'd rather not have the effort of packaging things up separately and the chances of more things getting lost if I could avoid it.
Thanks also for your (and other regular deal poster) contributions to this HUKD forum in general, they are appreciated. I don't think that gets said enough by some people.
#8
Would you take £250 delivered via Paypal?
#9
I would be interested in the console only for £180 and pay cash on collection
banned#10
Console only, best price?
Cheers
#11

Sorry for the delay in getting back to people, after having heard nothing for 2 and a half days there is sudenly a flurry of interest. It's could easily have been listed elsewhere had I not been busy.
I hope that piccie is OK (sorry can't remember how I managed to get it directly on the HUKD site before rather than just the link!). Like I say I am totally genuine. I can supply my Ebay details (770+ positives, 1 negative left by a guy who got me mixed up with someone else having tried to leave feedback whilst drunk! - 99.9% pos) as well as of course personal phone details if you want to check everything is OK.
As I mentioned I'm not looking to rip people off but I would like my money back. I'd rather that a fellow HUKD's member got the benefit than Ebay in fees but I'm not wanting to sell at a loss with Wiis still in high demand. I hope that's fair.
Anyway:-
Waby 1234. Thanks but sorry your offer is too low. After Paypal and special delivery I'd only be left with around £220.
Sparkygeezer. I would definitely accept your offer if I were selling separately and may do if no-one wants the package but at this stage with the renewed interest I would rather wait to see of someone wants the whole lot. I hope you can understand.
Jizzim. Same comment applied - at this stage am not looking to sell separately but if I was I'd accept retail price collected, which is what Sparkygeezer offered and thus you will be too late. Sorry
Chris B. - Sorry you felt the title was misleading and apologies for wasting your time. I thought about just putting "Wii for sale" but then thought that might mislead people when I was selling a bundle. It's a tricky one. Mind you my listing isn't half as misleading as many ads on a well known auction site! Thanks Hu5stler for defending me. As mentioned previously, at the moment I'm only selling as a bundle but if I were to split I think I'd be looking for £29.50 for Galaxy via Paypal or £28 cheque. As you can see it's brand new and in shrink wrap.
Saxo-appeal. I'm pleased you were able to view the photos OK.
Guiness and Cheese - Yes I can confirm that everything is absolutely brand new. Nothing has ever been taken out of the boxes, not even to check that it works. It is exactly as you would buy a new one from a shop tomorrow. The Wii was bought from Dixons October 15th and the games more recently from Argos. They have never ever been played with.
Tomoroy - As mentioned to others, I'd rather sell everything together and will wait at least a day to see if anyone wants the package. If after that day no-one does I'd consider selling you the console + Wiii sports and Wiimote for £220 if you could collect. If not I'd rather sell the Wii console to Sparkgeezer as it would be less hassle. Sorry.
Please note that at this stage however I have accepted no offers and the bundle (Wii console + Wii Play&remote + Mario Galaxy) is still for sale as a whole at £250 collected preferably or at that price + £20 delivered next day special delivery + Paypal fees (around £9) if applicable. I hope I am being fair.
Thanks

Thanks for the good honest answer :)

i'll keep my fingers crossed that no one buys the bundle
#21
Right i have had a word with the missus and i will take the lot for £250 cash on collection

Do you still have the receipts?
#22
Hi again, thanks for getting back to me. You have a deal assuming you still want it. I definitely have the Argos receipts for the games as I bought them instore. I'm not sure that a receipt ever came with the console itself from Dixons but will check - still have the original box (it was an internet order). I however have printed a copy of the receipt from the internet so that will definitely prove where and when it was bought in the unlikely event that you should need them.
It's not a bad deal, I've played Wii before and it's you'll definitely want the second controller for when friends are round. If you didn't want Mario or Wii Sports I'm pretty sure you could sell them and get most, if not all your money back.
Assuming you would like to go ahead please contact me by PM (I think that's how it works on here) and we can swap contact details etc. If not then just let me know. Cheers

PM sent

Just to let everyone know, the Wii bundle is sold to Sparkgeezer, at asking price subject to final exchange. Thanks to everyone else for their interest. I am not looking for any more offers unless the deal should fall through which I think is highly unlikely.
I hope everyone else manages to find the Wii/Wii games they are looking for at a good price and wish you all a Merry Christmas. I have benefited a great deal from deals posted by members of this site over the past year. :santa:

Glad to see this sold, it's very rare to find someone out to actually help people with regards to selling their wii, very impressed!

Just to clarify this Dixons do not send out receipts unless you specifically ask them to do so at the time of ordering - infact you don't even get delivery notes. If you request a receipt it is sent separately.

Otherwise it's just a case of printing it off online

Likewise just wanted to confirm that the transaction has been succesfully completed. Thanks to sparkygeezer for being an excellent, helpful buyer and to everyone else for any help interest. (I'm pleased it wasn't just my imagination that there was no invoice! I just printed one off instead). How do I leave feedback or is it just the "add rep" button please?
I got my money back (with a grand total of 5 pence profit - I'll round that up to a pound and put it in the charity box!) and sparkygeezer got a hard to find brand new Wii, Wii Play with remote and Mario Galaxy all at RRP so I think all in all everyone got a fair deal which is what it's about. I'm pleased that it went to a genuine buyer who wasn't prepared to pay Ebay prices.
I could probably have made a bit of a profit on the console and Wii Play with Ebay.
It looks like the average price people are paying on there for a Wii with postage is around £250-£260 (basically the same as I was asking for the Wii + the 2 extras) which after fees would probably have left me with a £20-£30 profit.
But bearing in mind that I definitely wouldn't have found Wii Play in stock without this site and that by reading this site I could foresee stock shortages so bought the Wii early enough (you will remember I was only selling due to unforseen cash shortage) I felt that I should offer a fair deal on here. I don't have time to seek out and find deals very often but it was something I could do to "give a little back" to members of the site.
Although I greatly appreciate the efforts of those who do have the time to post deals.
Once again good luck to all of those who are yet to find the Wii/Wii games they require. I hope that you manage it. If it's not too early to say so, I wish a Merry Christmas to all.:santa:
