I have a Samsung E250 Mobile (Black) phone that I recently purchased. I tried to unlock it myself but ended up resetting the IMEI number and now I cant use it on O2 as the IMEI shows all Zero's. If you want to use it on O2 then you would have to take it to a Mobile Shop to have the phones software flashed or the IMEI number restored which I understand costs between £5 and £10 at most.

It works fine on the Vodafone network so I'm selling the phone, charger, headphones and a 256Mb MicroSD Card and Adapter. All still fully boxed as new for only £26.50.
Shipping/Payment:
Payment can be via PayPal, Cheque or Postal Order. Please note that payments via Cheque and PO should be sent via recorded delivery. I will accept cash by post by only via Special Delivery.

In all cases the item will usually be dispatched within 24 hours of cleared payment. If you want to ask any questions then please feel free and I will try and answer in as much detail as possible. Thanks.

i dont think you can legally change the imei.

correct. its illegal to change the imei number on a mobile phone.
#3
you can flash it back to its original state though.
#4
well in my opinion restoring the IMEI to its original number shouldn't be illegal... i am sure there are software that can do that for free (try google)
#5
Thanks for the feedback folks. I wasnt sure about this, I know its illegal to completely change a phones IMEI number but legally restoring it isnt as phone companies do it all the time on phone repairs. As long as the IMEI number matches the hardware serial label IMEI number then I wouldnt see this as being illegal at all, I'd just see this as a repair. Anyways, its all good advice! thanks.

this happened to a freind of mine he tried unlocking it from a website and all it done was turn the imei to all zeros. he just returned it bak to the shop where he bought it.
#7
Its the unlocking method that resets the imei to 0000's - O2 supposedly don't work with IMEI's like this.

Well yes that would be my plan - but the thing is you have no feeback etc and I've already been conned once.

Hi. this is what the phone looks like. Its literally brand new, It has only been tested on the various networks. I took the screen protector sticker off but it has no scratches or nothing, immaculate pristine condition and fully retail boxed. Thanks.

Do you have any ACTUAL pictures though?

And feedback elsewhere (eg. ebay)
#23
Hi. understandable. I have over 400 positive feedback on a well known auction site and always send my buyers items recorded delivery and email them the recorded reference number. I'm more than willing to be open and transparent in my transactions on here and with anything I sell. PM me for my ebay seller name and message me on there if you like.

I am a new user on here and so I wouldnt have any feedback yet, but I have to start somewhere and sometime! Thanks.

Thanks, will have a look at reviews and get back to you soon.

I assume an ASDA sim card would work fine in here (The piggyback on Voda)
#32
Hi. Dont know. Can only confirm the Vodafone SIM works okay. I dont have an asda sim to try. Sorry.

Not a problem, check out the reviews etc but the price discussed isnt on the table permanently as its a bargain price. I will leave it open to that price until tomorrow evening for you. Many thanks for your interest.
#33
The phone can be had for £24.95 + £10 credit from thecarphonewarehouse
#34
Either way, thanks for your interest and good luck with your purchases. Many thanks.
#35
I'll tell you if I'm still interested tomorrow.
