Nikon D70 Body - low shutter count - less than 2500 (will check exact). Latest firmware and in perfect working order. Comes with a Hahnel grip which balances the camera really well when handheld and helps especially when turning the camera to take portrait shots. It also takes two batteries for longer use between charges (a couple of weeks daily shooting in my experience). It has an AA battery holder that can replace the Nikon batteries if needed.

Also included is the Nikkor (Nikon) 18-70 DX Nikkor Lens. This is great lens that provides much better results than the 18-55mm lens. Look at finished ebay listing to see that this is a popular seller that holds a good price 2nd hand (between £125-£150 delivered) and sells for £229 in Jessops. It is in perfect nick and comes with the original caps and hood.

Also included is a 4GB compact flash card and 2 batteries, the original mains charger, a third party charger as backup and a car charger (BN, never used).

Selling for the great price of £290 collected or + delivery at cost.

Reason for selling: In a short period, I've gone from using two D70's to two Fuji S5 Pros. The D70 is a better camera in some ways for all-round use (faster for example), but the Fuji is the best in its class for colours and skin tones imo, and since I'm shooting couple of weddings next month, this is my priority (the Fuji is more than double the price too). Would prefer to sell this and get another decent prime lens, so if anyone has one to trade please holler.

Where are you located Liddle and how far can you travel to meet?

I'm out and about in the North West area, so could perhaps meet someone in Cumbria, Lancashire and (maybe) West Yorkshire areas. However, don't want to spend too much time and petrol money just for this, so would be good to organise a meet in a place I'd be going anyway.

Ahhh, that's way too far for me.
I'm in sunny Harlow in Essex.
Such a shame.
Looks a good price to me.
Good luck with your sale.

Thanks - yes, priced to sell as I've now got four DSLRs. After finally getting a backup S5 Pro yesterday, the others must go!

Body or body and grip? and any lens you want to trade?
#6
I might be interested in the 18-70 if you sell the body

If I achieve my asking price, I don't mind splitting it up any way people might want it. Would need to take double postage costs into account though if not a collection. Cheers

£200 + postage for body + grip, boxed with all the accessories mentioned above if sold separate from lens. But if you and someone who wanted the lens could agree a split price, it might work out better for you both. Otherwise I will sell the lens on ebay separately.

As for lens wants, I could do with a prime at f/1.4, a 50mm or otherwise. I'd also be willing to trade up for one of the more expensive zooms and add cash. I have pretty much all focal lengths I need covered already, but am always willing to upgrade lens quality across the range, especially with the two weddings coming up.

EDIT: would consider a 60mm micro too if you have one.

Yes, it will. The Sigma will fit any APS-C format Nikon camera, which the D70 is. It's the Sigma 18-200 F3.5-6.3 DC OS Lens, right??

I'll use my last bump, and maybe take this elsewhere if no further interest here over the next couple of days. Thanks.

Thanks for the offer, but too low on both counts.
