Just bought the 480GTX from this thread
http://www.hotukdeals.com/deals/1536mb-kfa2-geforce-gtx-480-ltd-oc-anarchy-193-18-delivered-scan/926613

So time to move on my trusty 8800GT. Served me well, still plays Portal 2 happily in 1080p so by no means over the hill.

It's one of these

Still inside my PC currently until the new one arrives.

GPU-Z, for those wondering clock, memory, shaders etc.

Edit - Apologies, broken image links there

I will offer £25
#2
That's a bit too low.
£35 delivered, as I'd imagine delivery would be around a fiver for either recorded or special delivery.
#3
How much RAM has this got? Does it support dual screens?
#4
See links
http://img543.imageshack.us/i/gpuzuk.png/

512MB GDDR3, has two DVI outs and I've previously run a pair of 24" 1920x1200 screens off it without issue
#5

I'm in SE10, though could meet around the city too

Edit: Or even deliver if not a million miles away - gives me a nice excuse to get out on the new bike :D

I work near Victoria if that's possible.
Only prob is, was looking at a new card off Ebuyer for around £25 which is not far off this in performance terms.

For £25 I'd think you'd get something like an 8400. An 8800 would be much, much quicker :D

There's a 9600 in this thread for £40, essentially a rebadged 8800
http://www.hotukdeals.com/for-sale-trade/wanted-pc-components/926175

Victoria would be no problem, could drop it off tomorrow after my replacement is delivered. What better service than that for £35? ;)

You're right it's a 8400 but only £23 new

Can't see 8800s for sale any more, any idea why?

Don't imagine they're made new anymore. The 8400GS is an entry level card, was intended to improve on an onboard motherboard's graphics rather than rival an 8800GT. An 8800GT would actually outperform two 8400GS' in SLI.

Think my max is going to be £28. Although it's more powerfull than the 8400, I only really need it for Windows, have an Xbox for gaming ;)

So how much is final with delivery ?

No probs, sounds like the 8800 is more than you need. Maybe even not worth getting the 8400 as I'm assuming your motherboard has onboard graphics anyway? Would save you another £23.

Would you post first due to have low feedback?

Does it come boxed?

EDIT: Also i'm right in thinking it has a HDMI and DVI slot?

Not boxed, it's moved house with me a few times so packaging gone. 2 DVI and an S-Video.
Think I have a DVI-HDMI dongle if you need.

That's a shame my previous 8800GT had HDMI. That will be helpful!

The best I can do is offer £30 delivered?

:D That turns out less than al355 offered as he's near enough to deliver by hand.

al355, if you're still game then for the sake of a few quid and a quick sale its yours for £28. Can drop the card off tomorrow assuming the 9-5 delivery slot I'm waiting for isn't bang on 5pm...

Postage I believe will be around £5

Yep, so £28 with 0 delivery is better than £30 with £5 delivery.
Tis a bargain either way IMHO even at £35.
#26
I'd take it at £35 delivered, if you were happy to post first. Need a new graphics card as I killed my last 8800GT by accident!!

I wont get a chance to check in until around 1pm, so I'll come back then and see what's going on :)
#27
I'll have it please - dhope has offered it via PM also at the £28 dropped off, sorry cookiemonster83
#28
Sorry Cookiemonster if only you'd been around an hour or so earlier
#29
Sold, ta all
