Well im selling my old computer due to me building a replacement. The specs are:
Amd 3000+ Barton core
1.5gb of ddr, 1 stick is pc3200 and that 1 is crucial i believe, the other 2 are a random make and are pc2700, an overclock will sort the declocking.
Motherboard: asus board but cant remember model at this time so as soon as i build it into a new case i can tell you.
Gfx card: radeon 9600XT overclocked and its a sapphire card
Case: tsunami case, thats all i know.
Hard Drive: 80gb ide hard drive +20gb one, both maxtor

This computer has been great when i built it and the only reason i needed to upgrade was to play crysis.

I think somewhere around £55 is good, or nearest offer. Any questions post here or pm me, ill get photos soon.

Hi mate where are you based
location please?
sorry totally forgot about that xD, plymouth. Will welcome pickup but i will deliver if postage is paid, will find approximate weight.

Now if your interested, what colour front do you want for the case? as i have 2 identicle cases, 1 with a front blue panel, 1 black. (they switch anyways).

I will put together in about an hour, to check system stability. No operating system so i will wipe the hard drive as im using it on my new build.
Interested in the ram if you decide to split. Let me know, cheers.
may have some more ram as i found another case of the same with a motherboard, hopeing it has stuff in it xD.

Ok the system works but i would liek you to note that the gfx card(9600XT) is working fine except it does not like it being turned off, so say if you turn monitor off for x amount of time, come back and turn back on it will most of the time ignore you(so a reboot etc,) this is the only problem i have ever encountered but i have a solution that i have used for awhile when i was using. Simply set a screen saver and poof it wont die.

!.5gb of ram, 1 stick is pny, currently typing this on the computer and so will need to check the others in a few.

My other system is 1gb of ram, 333mhz and 1 stick of 266mhz, i will get the full spec shortly(need to swap it over) the gfx card used on that one though is the fx5200 and is nearly dead, the fan will need you to physically move it to try and make the motor kick in so i will sell that one without a card @ £30 (depending on spec). The motherboard on the 1 im selling first is an asus a7v8x-x. The power supply is a tsunami 350w it works and has never failed me. I do also have a Q-tec 500w psu which is better and would sell it for £15 as its no use to me now(got a 700w xclio). Not all the cables are fitted for it, i havent done the usb as i have not go the manual and so cant attempt without a 50/50chance of blow up xD. that only effects the front usb and since its not huge that is hardly a factor. All power buttons work, will test reset in a few. Getting pictures in 10mins.
hi photos would be appreciated
could i use this for watching films or as a media centre?
are you open for any trades?
ps whats the sound like?
any dvd writer etc/
I wouldnt accept trades as i really need the cash at this time. Em if your not going to add say a blu ray drive or something then it should deffintly be good, i used it for ages and was great for me.

only a cd-rw would be with it and its a hp drive, floppy drive aswell.
I have had interest from a friend of my dads so iam awaiting a price from him and if its too low then i will continue to sell here.

Will get pictures asap
ps any usb ports etc, to be honest all im doing is watching films and listening to music will use as a 2nd pc, can you confirm the sound?>
ps this is just a base unit?
This is just the base unit and i can confirm that there is onboard sound, it wont support 5.1 etc, as there is only the basic 1 speaker input(so 2.1 sound system) and the mic/headset. There is 4 usb on the back and 2 on the front(on case), the front ones are not wired in as i have lost the manual and so will not attempt this as i want it to work still :P. Will test sound soon and heres the pics:

One thing i have noticed is the lack of thumbless screws on the case, i will find some suitable screws for the panels but they are sturdy without them.

Any other questions?

edit: i do have a crt screen that is just using space and could probably sell that if your interested(think its a 17").
so i can use a 2.1 right thats good, lets see what i can offer!1
Sorry, the main parts of the pc have been sold as my dad's friend bought it now, i have the case 1x512mb 333mhz of ram and 2 80gb hard drives and 2 floppy drives, and a q-tec 500w psu. Any1 interested in them?
how much for the ram fella?
hmm no idea, but depending on delivery hows about £15? i can confirm its in working order and will check what manufacturer it is
£15 for 512mb stick? more like £5!
have you seen the price's of ddr? and that was going to be including delivery :P
hi how will i know if i can add an extra hard drive on to my pc?
by opening the case(normally 2 screws on the back) and seeing if there is an ide slot spare(the connection for the big ribbon cables). If there is a spare then it should work.
If your IDE ribbon has an extra connector on it that isnt being used you can add another hard drive on that. You dont need a spare IDE slot on your motherboard.
