I have received the wheel, but there is no power supply with it, I can not use without, can you please state what you will be doing abouyt this please.

also use of the force feedback and active resistance features requires an external AC adapter

also the gray cover on right side is missing which hides the battery compartment,

Thank you for your report MadAngie. Unfortunately there is no ac adaptor listed in the item list or shown in the photos - this should be treated as a feedback issue to be resolved directly between the buyer and the seller and hopefully an agreeable solution can be reached that way. If not, then this should be reflected in the feedback left for the trade.

Hi,I have sent you a pm with regards to your query with a contact number for you also,to be honest I'm not really sure what the problem is as it is a "wireless wheel" and you just need to put batteries in the battery pack to connect it?

Have just looked on ebay at other wheels and now understand what you mean by "power supply" apologies for not knowing about this bit.My son is out at the moment but I'm sure he will know where it is,as soon as he is back I will update you on it.

thanks for replying

It works with the batteries but there is no force feedback as such, been onto microsoft, you need to power adaptor to have full force feedback, they cost £15 to replace. They stated as the wheel is out of warrenty. When you buy the wheel they come with a power adaptor.
#22
also have noticed that there is no clamp to bolt to table or stand, very incomplete and useless without power adaptor and clamp. will cost as much as another wheel to replace these

thats fair enough but as power supply and missing clamp was not listed as missing when paying £47 for an item which is incomplete as all that was stated as missing was the box...

I can understand the moderators are in a difficult position when it comes to problems like this but surely Sigma you can see how the product in question has been listed incorrectly. Not stating weither it includes the standard accessories. Madangie I know this does not help now but for future refereance you should ask everything about the products you buy on the FS/FT Section as many dealers such as the OP has got away about selling this incomplete without enough Information about the item clearly being listed. Very Bad Loopole. But sadly MadAngie all I can see you getting out of the OP is a mouthful. As Sigma mentioned the Appropriate Feedback should be left for the OP.

I can't see how you can make the above comments with regard to this sale.I have sold the item in good faith,as I've said before to Angie I honestly had no knowledge of a lead for the wheel hence it not being mentioned or pictured in the thread, therefore NOT listed incorrectly.Since Angie pointed this out I have tried to discover where the missing lead is and have kept her up to date here, via PM and today on the phone,so please tell me why I would consider "giving a mouthfull" to her.
I know things don't allways go to plan on the for sale/trade boards, but please don't try and tar everyone with the same brush without the full facts.

I have still not been able to track down the lead so I will call Microsoft myself tommorow to ask about a replacement to see what they can offer. You have sent me a PM asking for me to refund you £15(I assume for the cost of missing lead) which would leave me with just £29 for the wheel and the game taking into account postage,on this basis if I cannot get the lead for you I would rather you just send the item back to me and I will refund you £51 back(extra £4 to cover your costs). You also mentioned in the PM that you didnt really want to leave negative feedback for me,and to be honest I don't really see why you would even be considering it as I have been very upfront and fair with regard to this sale,it's not as though I have tried to rip you off in any way shape or form.

hi .

i think a £15 refund is fair, as this is what it will cost to replace the adaptor even yourself getting one will cost this from microsoft. dont really want to send back as i will never use collect+ only parcelforce and that will cost me the price of the adaptor and will cost you £51 refund and you will then be left with a wheel you cannot really get rid off again.

I have just contacted Microsoft about getting a replacement lead for the wheel and acording to them they don't supply them! Could you let me know who you called to find out they cost £15 please(phone number would be good) I contacted them on 0207 365 9792.

Same number and a reference number of 1139117779 Can't remember the chaps name but the phone number was the same yes. They stated at the time they were out of stock but not they don't supply them any more. Is this enough information for you? You are now trying to make me seem like a liar and a thief yet you won't even help with the cost of replacement, either way of sending wheel back to you, or buying the power adaptor is going to cost me £15 at least. As stated before I will not use collect + to send packages they take too long and have really bad reviews. If I wanted a wheel with no feedback I would have brought the cheap madcatz version from gamestation. All I have requested is help for the adaptor, I have let alone the missing clamp which you need to hold the wheel down, These should have been advertised as missing.

Am I? I'm just stateing what Microsoft told me and have asked you a question with regard to who you called in case it was a differant number to the one I used.I have explained to you that I am trying to source a lead for you,one that I have told you on numorous occasions that I didn't even realise was with it,hence it no being in the picture, and have offered to refund you if I can't get it for you if you want to return the item. Can't see how you can **** Collect+ off as it got to you ok,so I dont see the problem with sending it back the same way if you want to take me up on the offer of a refund, there is no way I am letting the wheel and game sell for a total of £29 profit,I'd rather keep it and use it myself without the "missing" lead.
#31
I will keep trying and get the lead/adaptor, I want the wheel don't get me wrong, we all learn by our mistakes, in future I will ask a million questions before buying something, it is obvious we are stuck at this point.
#32
I am waitng for a phone call today from microsoft, maybe i'll have more news then, I want to keep the wheel, but also not so happy about being out of pocket after paying nearly £50 for a wheel then finding more on top for the adapter. Have you had any more news atall?
#33
Hi,I am getting no where with Microsoft personally, they just keep telling me they don't do replacement leads, which I find ridiculous.I am trolling every Forum I can on the subject to see if I can pick one up from any where else but I'm just hitting a brick wall at the moment,I will keep trying as I would like to get this sorted for you also if I can in a way that we are both happy with the outcome.
#34
I have picked up another wheel, selling this one, thanks for help trying to track down another adaptor. No need anymore. You can now close this thread with plesure, will leave positive feedback for your help can you do the same for me.
#35
Am i missing something here or is the adaptor a strange fitting? surely you could just get a generic one that matches in power etc. Same as getting a third party laptop charger.
