For the water cooling, had any problems with it? Is it everything i need (except water)? Could i get a 775 CPU block and just plug it in and it work fine with that? and would any 775 block work?

oh and what is the noise like? and could the fans be replaced with silent fans easily if it is noisy?

no problems, i just went for bigger tubing with a custom setup instead. everything that originally came with it except water, will try and sort a picture tonight for you with it all laid out. it comes with the block and the adapters to ake it work on other sockets, i was running this on my 775 system fine. noise is a bit like the review says, fine on low but loud on high, i did not see a real improvement in temps by cranking it up sdo left it on low. i will check the size of the fan but have had a good look at the internals(this is because you can convert the system to a single bay fitment instead of two) and it seems perfectly moddable(that such a word?!) if you felt it needed it.
personally with my experience now, just adding another radiator to the loop would allow even cooler temps or even the option to cool more than the cpu. will upload pictures though, might make more sense then:thumbsup:

i might have some actually, just was not planning on putting it on this thread since it had older stuff on it. how much are you after?

What is the lowest you will go for the water cooling as it looks like i will have to spend £25 on another block?

i will give it a good inspection tonight and see if i think its worth dropping, i guess the big thing will be postage, so that would be your choice on cost and speed of delivery. it comes with the 775 block, not sure why you would need another, it is different to the one in the review, with 3 ports rather than 2. will deffo sort pictures for you, might make it all a bit clearer.

ahh ok as in the review it says 'Mounting screws for sockets 478, 754, and 940'
So is it the same as the review one? If not do you have a different spec link or what is different

and 3 ports rather then 2? :s (only trying liquid cooling for the first time)

and postage can be as slow as you like and i mean that as im fine with air cooling just sandra says it too hot (i think the software lies as the motherboard says its fine) but thought i would give water cooling a go as always wanted too.

ohh and where are u located?

its the AL-HUC-E8U2(model B) and has the sticker saying LGA775 ready, must be different to the review one but only because it has the extra socket fitment, the rest looks identical.
i had a bit of tape around one end of a tube because it had a tight bend and with the tubing being hard, it could split. is totally water tight though and if you felt they were too short/hard/wrong colour/whatever, then tubing is really cheap to pick up and all the clamps are reusable for safe fitting.
i guess i could drop to the lower insurance rate, so whats that, £36? will get a postage estimate when i find the scales.
as a first jump into water, its a win/win! has quick release ports on the tubing so just undo without water going everywhere, the hard part is choosing how you want to fit it, since it has the option of external, internal with just the single bay display or even mount it in two bays!!
i am based in leicestershire, near coalville.
anything else, just ask, although i think i have gone on for long enough!

that looks all fine and i was going to mount it internally as otherwise i may well knock it and make itleak or something (mypc isn't tucked away lol)

Let me know how much is the lowest you can go and how much postage is as im on portsmouth so a little too far :p

read the link above, using the front control panel you can check the temperature of the parts and control the rpm speed of the case fans :)
