For sale is an optoma hd700x projector in excellent condition. It has about 200 hours of use and comes with all cables and plug. Also comes in original box

One thing to note however is that the hdmi input does not work
All other inputs do work including the component which outputs to the same resolution as the hdmi

The projector is the one shown here

Also for sale is a 84" Panoview grey wolf II pull up screen which is also boxed and in excellent condition. Due to the size of this item local pick up is the only option from central london (zone 1)

OP is offline now but i can say 200 hours would be fairly new. i bought it last december and it's on 200 hours mark too. bulb life is 3000hours on paper. (lol, have been using it all the time for gaming n movies). friends all very impressed by the quality of the image, highly recommended! :)

edit: lol, on again! cheers. again this version of bulb is relatively cheap though, around £100.

Yeh my friends looking into buying one of amazon new. Just thought i'd take a look HDMI faults a bummer. Surely its still under warranty, id be tempted to send it back then sell it. I've read somewhere they tend to go on this model between 6-12 months the bulb that is, replacements I've found yesterday were £180 each.

cool, seems that you know a lot about it. :-D but i also read some frequent users had it for 3-4 years b4 replacing the bulb. seriously luck though. and how careful the user is of course. where did you find the replacement bulb btw?

i dont have the reciept though and im really after a quick sale (can't be asked with return etc...) the hdmi is useful i must admit but as the max output for this projector is 720p which can be emulated by the component cable its just an extra port really

Let me know anywayz:thumbsup:

i thought bulb life depends on how long you have the projector on for. I really dont use it that much and according to the settings there is a lot life left in the bulb

£250 local pick up is the lowest ill go. Do you want the screen too by the way
#17
Sorry, is it too much trouble to send back to optoma for repairing the hdmi port? Cause you dont seem too interested in getting it sorted and is it under warranty actually. For the fact that you had it for just under 5 months, I personnally wouldn t throw the recipt for an item of this value.
#18
i will take both for £250, do you still have the receipt?

well i used the PS3 hdmi through it for a while and it workded really well. It suddenly stopped working however though sometimes when i did put the hdmi in it did work. However it just got so frustrating so i switched to component. I mean it does very rarely work, i think its just a bit loose or something. I personally wasnt to bothered however since the component is just as good.
