Orange £10 PAYG Airtime Top-Up Credit Voucher x2 £7.00

SparkSpark

Purchased recently from Argos but not required. Still sealed and completely unused.

Looking for £7.00 each PPG with either an extra 50p for 2nd class post or I can just send the code in a HUKD PM for free if preferred.

Shipping/Payment: See above.

There was no URL on these vouchers if the image which the buyer sent to me odds anything to go by (they were still sealed when I sent them).

I had agreed to refund the buyer but I haven't received them back yet or any solid proof that they were even sent. The fact also remains that these products did have a redeemable value and so if I issue a refund without receiving anything back then I'll be out of pocket.

Forgive me, but, I think you misunderstand the whole situation entirely.

    a) There IS a URL on the voucher you sent the buyer - as shown in Step Two (highlighted in orange - the url posted by sickly above) of the image he uploaded. (page 2 of this thread)

    b) Admittedly you have not received the item back, and buyer has not sent proof of postage (which he should to clear up the matter)

    c) BUT regardless of this fact - the "vouchers" have no redeemable value! They merely act as a signpost to the URL above. You are not out of pocket. You can quite happily goto the URL on the piece of paper (again, as above) - enter the IMEI/phone number of the phone which came with these vouchers into the form, and the money will be credited to your SIM card.

For clarity: These "pieces of paper" have no worth, value, and merely provide a URL which enables you to enter the IMEI/Phone number of the accompanying mobile phone into the website, and get the £10 credited to the SIM Card (which as far as I am aware, you still have in your possession). You will not be out of pocket whether you receive the "vouchers" from the buyer or not In fact, you are simply wasting further money by forcing him to post them back to you. There is no 'redeemable' code in with the "voucher", and only the person who has the SIM Card and corresponding IMEI number can claim the topup. (ie you)

PS, I'm not getting on at you, nor is sickly, we just want (along with the mods) to ensure FS/FT is a 'safe' trading environment for all (and I'm sure you'd want us fighting your corner if this situation was flipped).

Not sure if it would work with T-Mobile to be honest and I haven't registered the sim which came with the phone and the second voucher which I received today was literally just handed to me over the counter so I don't think that they are locked to anything.

Let me just have a quick search on the internet if they work. Are they a voucher code or do they need doing via a site like https://getmycredit.orange.co.uk/index.cfm?go=credit.registerSim

I think it's just a normal airtime voucher and you just enter the code by dialling the Orange top-up number from your phone and entering in the code off the card.

No problem, that's completely understandable. :)

EDIT: I just found this on T-Mobile's FAQ so Orange top up cards will not work as far as they are concerned.

Can I use an Orange top up card now?
No, you’re still a T-Mobile customer, so you can still only use T-Mobile top up cards to top up your T-Mobile phone.

Payment received of £12.00 ppg including 2nd class post as agreed. I have the cards with me today so I'll try to put them in the post for you this afternoon.

Thanks for the quick payment. :)

Item sent by second class post. Should hopefully arrive on Thursday/Friday.

Thanks! Will let you know when they arrive

Just received these & opened one. These aren't top up vouchers with codes in. It is inclusive top up when you purchase a new phone & it states it can only be used with the phone & SIM it was included with, and not to be sold seperately...

OK I will send you the sim card and top up credit-type card which was provided with the handset then if that's OK. Just out of curiosity do they both say that or just one of them?

There must be some way for you to use them as they weren't provided in the box with the phone and neither the sim card or top-up credit card have been activated in any way.
    ahabc86
I've only opened one of them. If you send the sim card, the credit will be loaded to that SIM & not mine. They are specific to SIM & phone as you need to submit IMEI numbers etc. Could I send them you back for a refund?
    Spark
I will need to think about that to be honest because issuing a refund in this case could place me at risk of fraud. Could you please post a picture of the one which you opened as the information which you are presenting there is at odds with what I have read elsewhere online.
