with this you can send 5 texts a day for life, no top up required.

I have had this sim for years, and its had 1p on for well over a year.

I am moving to contract so i am looking to sell this one, dont have a clue what its worth, watch a few on ebay about a year ago finish at £60ish.

ideal for a child as they can send 5 a day for life with out topping up.

make me a offer if its of interest.

Ah i had one of these yeeeears ago...
do they still give you a minutes worth of calls when you run out of credit??

Out here is not transferable between people - if you change the name the SIM is in, it will be lost. At least this is the case when they managed to get it off me.

this may be the case for the product, but the product is not being transferred.
the account owners name is being changed.

like i said i did this a few years back - no problems

happy for who ever gets it to keep it in my name

your call.

The person is unable to act on the account unless it is in their name (if there is a problem, for example) which can be a considerable limit. The account owner name is being changed because the SIM and the account is being transferred, there is no other definition of transferring. It was specifically in the T&Cs that it can not be done (only transferred to a new SIM up to twice out of memory, if for example you have to get a new SIM card as you lost the previous one). I fell foul of this 3 years or so ago as they did not warn me (the SIM had been given to me years before and I just had never bothered to get it put into my name). You were probably just lucky since it was clear in the T&Cs.

This is a necessary warning to any potential buyer (I don't want to ruin your thread on purpose), it must stay in your name or there is a high risk it will just disappear and Orange will reply with "it's not a product you transfer between people".
