I have an as new san francisco for sale in as new condition. This was bought on 8th december as an xmas pressie for me (I will forward the receipt with the phone) The xmas gift box has with it a black phone, a rubiks type puzzle, a pack of cards and a yoyo (god knows why!!) anyhows it was £119 and I have since bought a cleargel case and some screen protectors which I will forward on.
I have unlocked it and it is running android 2.2 with japanese jellyfish. The app store from android is excellent for the likes of free apps such as angry birds and chess etc.

#6
Dial *983*24474636#

If it says 'Glass: Samsung' it's OLED
#7

says connection problem or invalid mmi code. do i need to turn on wifi or something? or is it because i have this jellyfish thing on it?
#9
have done this
"TFT reduces battery life and has a backlight when the screen is black instead of being completely black which AMOLED does. To find out if you phone has AMOLED you should switch it on, the black background surrounding the orange logo should be completely black, if its grey your screen is TFT"
and the screen behind the android logo is completely black.
None of the codes work with the jellyfish. However, it appears very easy to change - see here

Try *983*31# It should give you a white screen and when you press the back button red then green then blue then black.
#11
the codes dont seem to work with the jellyfish rom. It is in perfect condition whichever screen it is, so am open to offers. It is a G1 first generation phone if thats any help

but this is a pre xmas one so should be OLED and therefore worth more as demand is higher.

But op is unsure of version, so I am taking a chance imo :)

OP do you have the original box for the phone

if so post the product code that is on the barcode label - that should identify it as OLED or TFT

Any idea if it is OLED or TFT yet?
#19
If this can be confirmed as OLED I will offer £75 + actual del costs for RMSD.

I also only require phone, box and accessories (not the xmas gifts thing)
