I think everyone would prefer this brand new one for £549.99 than three years old one.

Thanks 'everyone' , I assume you speak for every member on here then ? ....

Although your input to this thread has been extremely beneficial to all may I take this opportunity to clarify that my plasma comes with the matching cabinet which I paid around £350 extra for at the time. A similar plasma on a pedestal for £100 more may appeal to some but perhaps not those who ...

a. wish to spend £100 less
b. require a matching Panasonic stand with an impressive design and not just a pedestal stand.

Its all about personal preferences I guess. The price I quoted is what I am looking for , I may consider offers very close to this but no silly offers please and please please NO swaps , lol.

There is an almost identical listing on ebay at the moment for 37" version of the same TV which is currently bid upto £370with delivery and there is 5 days left on that auction .... This is for a smaller version than the one I have and comes WITHOUT the stand !
No doubt this TV would fetch in excess of £450 on ebay .... however I am offering it on here first to see if anyone wants it without having to pay the listing fees/selling fees. Any offers much adrift of £450 will be rejected so no timewasters please, if also fails we all know where it'll be listed , lol.

Parents have just bought a 40" Sony Full HD LCD from Costco at an extremely good price. However, this TV looks far better when viewing SD channels and on the 360 there is almost no difference whatsoever so this is a truely excellent TV and a great buy at this price !!

I Have the original box for the TV so this shouldnt be a problem but I dont have the packaging for the stand as this came in a separate box so would find the stand difficult to post. It is also extremely heavy.

Just looking at the photos I've uploaded .... It makes the TV look like theres loads of marks on it , rest assured there isnt , plasmas have a glass like screen which appears very reflective so anything in the background is seen on the screen, there may also be a few little marks on the lens of my camera too !! Would prefer collection in person so the person buying would be able to see the exact condition which is near perfect and that the set works 100% like new.

Eurovox boxes and dvd player shown in the photos arent included btw ..... thought i''d get that in before someone asks, lol

thanks , just used TinyPic as recommended in the FAQ section of the forum , thanks anyway ....

Off out in about 10 mins but will be back after 7.15pm to respond to any interest, Cheers

I would be interested in the TV, but not the stand. If you could sell this seperately, I could probably offer £350
#11
Hi,
Unfortunately the stand is no good to me if i were to sell the TV so the price would still have to be £450 ovno. Also the smaller version (37") of this TV is currently going fopr £370 on ebay without the stand and theres 5 days left of bidding !! .... mine is obviously worth at least £80-£100 more than than that, being the larger 42" and with a free official panasonic cabinet stand to take or leave!!
#12
Ok
Good Luck Anyway
#13
Shouldnt need it but thanks anyway ....

Good Luck to whoever lives locally that can take advantage of this offer and secure this little gem before someone else grabs it ..... if I have no joy selling on here i'll resort to selling on ebay to undoubtedly get at least the asking price and hopefully factor in the fees in the price as well !!

speaks for me anyway

Thanks for your contribution , I tell you what why dont we all post our comments regardless on whether we are interested or not ... thats the annoying thing about this site , too many fools.

I havent posted a deal which invites people to post comments on whether its hot or not , this is posted in the FS section guys in case yopu hadn't noticed ! , I have an item for sale which will suit some and not others. I dont expect all those who arent interested in buying to sabotage the thread in a child like manner , it achieves nothing and really is a waste of time.

I know Ebays fees are rather high but at least you dont get the same silly comments before achieving a sale, Kind of regretting posting on here already. For that reason I am just going to leave this on here until Sunday before I pull it and place my ad on ebay where I can actually sell it rather than dealing with comments from people who have no intention of buying.

There are no dead or stuck pixels , they are uncommon in plasma screens apparantly and would have been present from day one as they cannot develop this problem with use.
Best PM me your best offer for me to mull over as I dont want a circus of price haggling on this thread.
Price is £450 or nearest offer.

Cheers.

PS ... Will have a look on avforums and perhaps give it a go , thanks bluejmc2005
#18
thankyou for that, before i make my offer just two questions where it says hd is there damage above that or is it just a image reflection and do you get a hdmi scart with it thanks .
#19
Hi, Its a reflection, there are a few reflections in the pictures which look as though they may be marks , this isnt the case. There are no marks on the set that are visable enough for a camera to even pick up, its near mint.

There is a hdmi socket and 3 scart sockets i think. No leads are included except the power lead of course as they will be needed for my new bigger screen tv when it comes.

Cheers

All deals and acceptance should be done in thread and not PM as per the rules

My father-in-law has given me a budget of under £400 for a lcd or plasma. I'll have a word with him when I get home tonight. We are quite local aswell so we can collect.

On the pics it looks like there is a mark on the stand to the left of the HD sticker, or is it a reflection?

To the left of the HD sticker is a chrome thingy which is part of the design , i think there is a card slot there too with an led indicator next to it (never used that feature) so they arent marks anyway.

We're out this evening for a fooball presentation but will check messeges and thread when I get back , I'm sure it wont too late , lol ... heres hoping anyway !

#28
Glad you got this sold buddy, It was a good price.
#29
It was a good price for the seller..not the buyer.
The TV is 3 years old. He wouldnt have got that price on AVForums. A PX70 is only worth £400 odd

Its worth whatever someone is willing to pay for it at the end of the day, not what you value it at. What does the PX70 have that mine didnt - I think the pv500 looks far better (design wise) imo ... ?
Mine was a little under 3 years old too, more like 2 and half ;) but pretty much like new !!

Not sure how to close the thread guys , appreciate any help.
