This is a Panasonic DMR-E85H DVD HDD Recorder with built-in receiver. Just reconditioned with a new PSU (Power Supply) and DVD-RAM drive at ridiculous expense (£270 refunded by Panasonic). Took 1 month so I bought a new one in the meantime!

Brilliant machine in excellent condition which I had loads of use out of (may be why it needed a new PSU and DVD-RAM drive). The 80GB hard drive saves about 40 hours of video footage in SP (good quality) mode but there are also LP and EP modes giving up to about 160 hours! There is also an XP mode which is best possible quality and the one I use most FR (flexible recording) which optimises the bitrate to fit into the standard 4.7GB capacity of DVD-R or DVD-RAM disks!

Good review/details here:

I will sell for £185 delivered if anyone is interested. Cheers, Toby
