I've got the remote somewhere abouts.....

Say about £6.75 bundled with the remote as postage ain't cheap on the freeview box + ps1 (or at least I don;;t think it'll be lol)

actually just remembered my mum gave me a freeview box (just need to fix it) so no worries!
i always forget what ive got! lol! i want one just so get more channels in bedroom.
#25
awoodhall2003 remember if you want more channels in a room a good set-up I have is using a wireless linux setup with a modified satellite (an easy alternative for the less tech savvy is online software/ database of shows and movies via hardives)

Sorry m8 can't take pics of the laser as my camera either makes it look not very bright or makes the picture go red...

Yep it comes with batteries

I forgot to mention that the bit in the midle is a bit loose ...(its mentioned in the review on dx i think) but a little bit of blu-tac or glue should help(blu-tac would be better tho)

thank you very much but i dont want the bedroom full of kit as well, when i was living with my mum when i was younger i ran a media set up so that all other computers, wired and wireless could connect to all media. didnt work so well if everyone was using it though! (im too energy saving now to leave a PC on 24/7 as well now that i pay the bills!
and modified sat is a new one to me...but sounds interesting.

Maybe one day on the misc when I am bored I will tell everyone how to make their own modified sat. Everyone will be happy and the one in every fifty to try it might get it working slightly before cursing me for convincing him to try and build it. The reception is perfect on preview channels, all radio shows (all frequencies on am,fm,pm and dab although I don't listen to them generally), police and news channels, about 12 detections of sea bearing channels and surprisingly large selection of wifi set-ups detected (both secure and unsecure, really fokes put a damn password on your wireless internet). However it took me forever to set up the dishes (one was donated from a closing tv station) and would only recommend to someone that knows how everything works and can rebuild the kernels in a linux environment.
