PC (Desktop) DDR Memory Wanted

PC is running a bit sluggish and really struggles if asked to do more than one job, went on the crucial memory site and its scan reckons I am running one 256mb and one 512mb memory with a free slot.

So I'm after a 1gb or 512mb DDR PC2700 or PC3200 to put in the spare slot.

If anyone is shaking their head at this point thinking this is totally wrong I would appreciate a heads up!!

I'm not to technically minded but gonna have a go.

er.. not ddr1 dude..

Prices are mental at the moment as it's not really produced very often anymore, so its more expensive than the newer, faster stuff available (ddr2 etc)

I have 2 x 1gb DDR 400 sticks that run at 333 as well.

SPD timings and speeds:

2.5-3-3-7 at DDR 333/PC2700
or
3-3-3-8 at DDR 400/PC3200

You con have them at £22 each delivered or £42.00 for both. (£2.00 for recorded delivery)

Paypal/BT as you wish. or collect from luton, beds.

I would recommend you put your pc specs up here so we can see if dual channel would make a difference for you or not.

iirc: any intel chipset mobo from i845 series and newer (i865 and i875) are dual channel capable. some via/sis as well but not all.
