i had one of these, kept freezing. ended up taking it to the tip.
#3
will bread fit in the floppy drive?

OK we've had our fun.
The guy is new here and this probably isn't the best welcome.
Let's ALL delete our posts and let Steve 3005 get on with selling this.

Welcome to HUKD Steve excuse us clowns.
#5
i managed to build an almost identical setup for £620 on overclockers, brand new obviously. start lowering your price drastically. (P.S. not interested just tring to help u).
#6
I'll give rep for the level of detail on the post - nice summary of whats inside.

Unfortunately as previously stated your price is more than a bit optimistic. May actually raise more to split and sell components seperately.

Good liuck with Sale.
#7
Yes, better to sell the unit with only basics for about £500 ish (a good price for an old athlon X2, 3gb ram and budget/onboard graphics card).

Sell all the trimmings seperatey. Most people won't need 2TB of disk space for example.
#8
Please explain Heavertron what you mean regarding basic ?
I prefer to get rid of it all as one package if I am honest the Guide price was put so high as i never had a clue what it was worth , so any advice as to what i should put it up for much appreciated I am not greedy I just gonna buy either 24" iMac or HP touch all in one pc so this is going the journey.
thanks a lot
Steve

you will not get anywhere close to £600.
And that is not flaming or thread spoiling, pointing out the obvious.
being in the computer trade myself..

I'm quite surprised & saddened by some of the posts made so far by well-established members. Recently, some posts in the FS/FT section have all but turning this place into a farce off late. I'm glad some level-headed & mature members have been helpful & provided encouragement though.

(14) Please ONLY post in a thread if you are interested in engaging in the sale/trade listed. Anything else will be considered thread spoiling and will be deleted. Thread spoilers, including threadjackers, face a ban from the FS/FT forum. If a member continually posts questions in multiple threads and then withdraws from the sale this will be considered thread spoiling. Low ball offers will also be considered thread spoiling and will be deleted. It is up to the original poster to use the 'report' button http://www.hotukdeals.com/forums/images/custom_buttons/report.gif to notify moderators of any thread spoiling.

(15) The ONLY exception to this is if you see the EXACT item priced higher than available new elsewhere. In this case a third-party can make a post but ONLY in the following format: LINK TO MERCHANT - PRICE. No comments, just the facts. This must be the final price after VAT/shipping for a new product and from a reputable merchant. Price comparison to auction sites, classifieds or other personal sales are NOT allowed. Members who DO NOT follow these posting rules face a ban from the FS/FT forum.
steve3005, as above, you're fully within your rights as a member to report any post you don't feel is appropriate/detrimental to your sale (I'd done so already several hours ago, but it appears all the mods are off having an early new year!).

It may be obvious to some, but it's only fair that you post links, or a screenshot

If anyone like to give me an idea what the package is worth please
I wouldn't mind - give me a few minutes. Splitting may be the best option as already mentioned.
#12
Much obliged if you could it would be great, the only reason i put it so high in the begining was to gauge what it was worth :s .
I must admit it did feel like I was being attacked and on my first post wasnt nice, But I will live :)

Basically all I want is to know what its worth approx and if anyones interested, as i said earlier too I am willing to Split if enough interest in the parts.

P.S anyone know where to get a 24" iMac for a good price :)

Regards
Steve

when did u buy the monitor m8,the link u gave it says it has a 20-30 ms response time, surely that gives u blur?

review is from 2002,is that when u got it?
#14
Not sure of exact date I bought but when I did it was £500 so it was a while ago now, I am not up to date on such things but I have used it with no "blur".
2002/3 sounds about right
Thanks for the interest :)

got a few questions

what make is the ram/age also
how much for the harddrives samsungs?

regarding the monitor,i think u would be pushing £50max,
it is about 7 years old now, cant have much life in it now,low response time and low res too.
u cant get a monitor with specs as low as that in shops at moment, but u can pick up a monitor that is way way way better for about £70.

appreciate answers on questions please.
i think sammy 1tb new is about 78?
sammy 500g is about 40

Please note that the following prices are my opinion only. Anyone is free to disagree, offer more/less, etc - I'm sure the OP would appreciate suggestions, valid links, etc. Likewise, the OP is free to increase/decrease these prices &/or state whether offers are welcome or not. But please no eBay comparisons, 'I got this for such & such on that forum', or similar - as these would be unfair & against forum rules.

steve3005, you/the buyer will need to decide what to ship / combine shipping / meet half way / pick up from yours / deliver - depending on costs & convenience.

TB Drive now sold
To whom? According to the rules, all communication needs to take place in the thread, i.e. until a deal is offered & accepted. Btw, simultaneously advertising these elsehwere is against the rules too. Please read the FS/FT rules.

steve3005;3911967
there about a year old id say
Isn't the month of manufacture printed on the disks? You may also be able to do an online check to see how much warranty remains on each.
