Couple of points here. The 60gb version is around £350 in Japan at retail I believe (but they are obviously sold out) If you dont need the wireless connectivity and the card reader (most wont) you are much better off with the 20gb version. The hardrives in them are easily upgradable and its relatively cheap to do.

Also you can get the 20gb jap consoles for £350 shipped to the UK by reputable sellers on a certain known auction site....Probably end up paying import duty but thats not far off the UK retail price when its launched next year.

Also word of warning. The jap consoles have hardware censoring of rated games (SO in resistance on the jap console you dont get all the gore / blood)

If you are going to import you are better off going for a us console although it will cost a bit more...
