That's the dilema for me, I have a white ipad and wasn't going to get an iphone but tried a blackberry torch and decided to get an iphone. Just in time for my birthday they are releasing the white iphone...
#7
ouch gonna be tough as the white iphone and white ipad will look pukka, but then will they look as good if they go yellow'ish lol im more of a blackberry man this is around the 3rd iphone 4 alone ive owned now and i still never keep it over my blackberry

I'm holding out for the new blackberries to come out to be fair but I'm using my old HTC Hero at the moment and hating it the more I use the thing now.

i like the look of the blackberry tablet, the thing is the next few models are gonna be just the same old bold/curve with a new number after it but there not much difference, i like my 9780 do

Was curious about the same thing, if you want the money why wouldnt you just take it back to the store?
#15
ok think you two are confused, as why would taking an un-wanted upgrade back to the store get me any sort of money ? :)

Not confused its just the hitman asked where did you purchase the phone from O2 or Apple and you replied with O2 store with no mention that it was an upgrade, hence our question, I understand now tho.

Cheers
#18
yea i geuss, but then its must be obvious to anyone that if i had got this simfree or pay as you go then i would of took it back for a refund and not sell on here @ a loss, i geuss i could of stated it but then i geuss 99% of people would no without the need for me to state it....

There are no marks, dents or scratches on the iPad. It looks brand new.

The data sim is a 3 month 3gb 3 mobile data sim card, it basically works the sane way as 3GS on a mobile. The sim is valid for either 3 months use or 3gb of data. So if you use all the 3gb data then you can put a new data sim in, if you don't use it all within 90 days then the remaining balance gets wiped.

It's good as your not tied into a contract as they are pay and go sims
#21
god i just cant decide lol i was gonna buy the ipad 2 for £200 on contract mmmm i just cant decide lol
#22
would you sell for £350

Its up to you dude, the 3gb 3 sims work out better than a contract as there about £8 off amazon.

Do you have the receipt for the iphone as you've sold a couple on here before over the last few months?
#24
yea i always keep receipts etc and always send copy's even when not asked, do you have one for the ipad ? any ideas on the warranty is passed on

I have the original receipt but that ipad was exchanged with apple for this one, i have the documentation to show that aswell.

I presume the warranty will carry on as the ipad has apple care until the 23rd september 2012, correct me if im wrong though
#26
is there anyway i could find out, if i rang apple for example ? when it was replaced was it just the unit on its own ie they didnt replace the box etc did they ? just thinking if the box and ipad its self will have diff imei's numbers (if they even have imei numbers on)

You can ring apple and find out, they are probably the best people to ask. They replaced just the unit so the box does have a different imei number on it to the console but like i said i have the paper work for the swap from apple meadow hall
#28
also sorry to be a pain, but was the handset apple proovided new or a refurb etc

No worries dude, They told me it was a new ipad, is there away to check?
#30
im not sure ive never owned an ipad, imjust think about the time i come to re-sale as if i do like it id still go for the ipad 2, all thats putting me off is the imei's not matching (obviously you have explained that but that will reduce re-sale price) and then i wondered why if new why apple wouldnt of swapped whole lot for you (that aint saying your lieing more i wonder if apple would of just supplied a refurb)

Thats fair enough, I can only provide you with everything i have, purchase receipt and replacement receipt, Apple literally told me to keep everything apart from the ipad and they would "Give me a new one" They just brought a ipad out from the back with all the plastic covering etc a new one has, it was not in a box at all.

I can scan the replacement receipt of you wanna have a look over it?

hope this helps a bit more

right i've had a look at the apple replacement receipt and it does not give me any information if it was a refurbished one or new one, so i can only go on what i was told in the shop that it was a new one.

sorry about that,

It's up to you weather you want to proceed with the deal or not dude
#34
if i new it was 100% brand new i would of done it, but the fact it could still be a refurb add on top of that the box etc i think i will lose a fair bit on re-sale im sorry...
