The iMac is in amazing condition and is only used for around 1-2 hours a day. I have owned it for around 10-12 months unsure exactly , im trying to find out through apple to see if any warranty is left. The spec is below.

- 2.8 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo
- 2gb Ram
- 320gb Hard drive
- Model Name: iMac
- Model Identifier: iMac8,1
- Processor Name: Intel Core 2 Duo
- Processor Speed: 2.8 GHz
- Number Of Processors: 1
- Total Number Of Cores: 2
- L2 Cache: 6 MB
- Memory: 2 GB
- Bus Speed: 1.07 GHz
- Boot ROM Version: IM81.00C1.B00

It comes boxed with all original software and install disks. It also has a magic Mouse with this instead of the normal mighty mouse.

The software included will be the standard apple software. I will include a copy of Adobe Creative Suite CS2 Premium which includes, indesign, illustrator, photoshop and dreamweaver etc. The machine currently has CS3 and CS5 on it. I will remove this before it is sold. Theres also lots of other free software on there such as VLC, MSN, Handbrake etc.

As you can see from the pics it has been well looked after.

There are no marks, scratches or dead pixels anywhere.

I am afraid the Black Macbook is either Late 2007/ Early 2008. I am sure it can't be early 2009.

Can you point out where it says when the Black Macbook's were discontinued then as im pretty sure i bought it after xmas 2008. The alumninium ones were available but were pretty new if i remember and were more expensive.

Anyway, if the OP is interested, it's up to him, im not too bothered about converting to desktop anyway. :)

Would you be interested in my Core 2 Duo 17 inch Macbook Pro, has some scratches on the base of it and a little raise right by the power button. But otherwise in very very good condition. Cost me £1850 when I got it last year. Would ask for money added to your imac?

Many thanks :)

If it's not in warranty, it'll cost a fair bit to fix if something goes wrong.

That's why applecare is such a bargain IMO, just the cost of one repair is probably going to come out at more than the cost of applecare, so to get all repairs for free for 3 years if you buy applecare is a very good deal.

Fair enough, I would do it for £650 + postage?
