PS2 (slimline) chipping in manchester?

I'm looking for someone to chip my PS2 (slimline) so that it can play imports, PS2 DVD/CD backups, and PS1 CD backups.

Can be outside of manchester, and I will pay for postage too, but you would need to have had positive feedback.

Cheers!

There is no need for a chip boot disc is the best way

magic swap is the worst way keep on swapping discs , get it chipped MUCH BETTER my chipped ps2 normal one lasted me about 5 years and then i got it fixed for 30 quid as the older playstation 2s are better.

Is the HD Loader straightfoward or reasonable enough to set up and use? Despite reading quite a few articles I don't quite get whether the 'exploit' that is neeeded requires a PC loader of some sort to load data onto the memory card, or a modchip....!

My gf and i both have the swap magic in our ps2 slimlines, don't get any bother with them and the games work fine, fairly cheap and easy to do yourself, only takes a few minutes.
#16
yeah thats the right disc but you need the pieces that mod it. Think its this one but not sure. The installation video seems to say its that one though
#17
sweet, gonna get it sometime this week once i sell tekken 5 and gran turismo 4

try www.memtechsolutions.net for swap magic, they are based in Bury, Manchester

btw if anyone is interested i have a modchip for the "bulky" ps2 ...

I'll flog it for £25+ Postage if anyone is interested.. its the MAGIC III.

I installed it and took it back as it didnt work initially.. the chap at the fair bridged a connection which turned it "ON"/fixed it.

Its a 22 pin board/chip which if you're local to Birmingham I can also install for £25 more.

pm if interested. thanks
