PS3 60gb with extra pad and games

I'm thinking about selling my PS3 to raise cash to buy the ton of 360 games due out this month alone (and the fact I haven't played on my PS3 since I bought my 360 two months ago) and so I'm considering putting it up for sale if I can get something worthwhile on it. Details as follows:

[U Hardware

PS3 60gb fully boxed
Extra un-official Logitech wireless controller

[U PS3 Games

Warhawk installed on HDD
Calling All Cars installed on HDD
Super Stardust installed on HDD
All-Pro Football 2k8 (Blu-Ray)
The Bigs (Blu-Ray)
Oblivion (Blu-Ray)

[U PS2 Games

Canis Canem Edit
Eye Toy Play (with camera)

I'd be looking for £350 for the lot and cash on collection only (I live in Liverpool). Console has barely been played on and is in excellent condition. I'm not interested in trades and nor do I wish to sell anything seperate at this point, I'd much rather sell the whole lot and know where I stand so I can put the money towards the 360 games I'm after.

Cheers!

EDIT: PRICE LOWERED TO £350 AND ADDED SOME EXTRA DETAILS.

mate, save your time and bang this on fleabay, doubt you will get your asking price here..or near that.. ;-)

I should be able to get close I'd imagine. CEX will give me £273 for the console on it's own but then I'd have to go and sell the rest of the stuff, as well as the fact three of the games are downloaded onto the HDD and can't be sold to a shop hehe.

We'll see :) I'll see if I have any interest on it by this time tomorrow and if not, then I'll put it on eBay and go from there :)

well hope you are right... good luck with the sale

Morning bump :)

The fact you have games on the hard drive wont higher the price possibly lower it in all honestly. If the games downloaded are not of interest to the buyer, they cant sell them on. Good luck with your sale though.:)

Lower the price? How?

I know you said no trades, but you know how much Wii's are going for, you could get close to asking price. Just over water could collect
#9
Just sold a Wii a few months ago so not interested in a Wii again, cheers though.
#10
No probs, if you change your mind, or lower the price, PM me :)
#11
It wouldnt have the same selling power as a console with the games seperate. If you did and the buyer didnt like them they could trade them in and get 30/40 quid for them. Once again good luck with it. Try posting on Gumtree you might have some luck there.
#12
I'll give it until tonight and then throw it on fleabay, don't want to get to next week when COD4 comes out and I can't afford it while having my PS3 sitting there hehe :)

I've checked on fleabay and PS3 60gb's are still going for £300 on there, with my having a few extras I'm hopeful of getting a bit more than £300. Otherwise it's off to sell to CEX or something.
#13
Second bump. Will consider £325 to save putting it on eBay and fees etc.
#14
After some consideration, I'd also consider trades for a 360 with HDMI (latest version) and games. Anyone?

Hoping to be helpful...

Some history about when you bought the PS3 & from where may help as this gives the buyer an idea about the length of warranty remaining (something parents looking for Christmas presents may favour knowing).

Also, a photo or few of the actual items for sale (with your user name in the photo somewhere) may help along interest.

Good luck.

Cheers Fanpages :)

Can't remember when I bought it exactly, not long after launch (about a month maybe). Bought it from someone on eBay so no receipt unfortunately. I can have a photo uploaded tonight when I get home from work.

CEX will give me £276 for the console alone in trade which would leave money for games so I'd be hoping to get a better deal here really :)

No problem.

With the (UK) launch being 23 March this year, you've potentially got 5-ish months left of the initial 12 month warranty.

I 'hear' what you are 'saying' about trade-in price, but with the recent drop in price of the 60Gb model, and the release of the 40Gb one, the price of pre-owned models has fallen too.

That said, you have a 60Gb model that does offer backward-compatibility with PS2 (and PlayStation) titles, so this is a selling point (if supplies of the 60Gb model are falling due to being phased-out).

The titles you can split from the console (below), will probably fetch you about £35-£40, maybe a bit higher, depending on condition, either here, or in trade-in, but it may be worth considering splitting & offering prices of each game title if the whole bundle does not generate any interest.

All-Pro Football 2k8 (Blu-Ray) [PS3]
The Bigs (Blu-Ray) [PS3]
Oblivion (Blu-Ray) [PS3]

Canis Canem Edit [PS2]

As I said, good luck, and when you have photos available you may find a pick-up with views on your thread.

Thanks for the tips there FP :)

I'd also like to point out that APF and The Bigs are NTSC-US games (not released outside the USA so had to buy NTSC versions) and the person who might buy wouldn't be able to trade them in to high street stores. I would consider selling the console on its own and selling the games on eBay if needed. Any offers?

Again, pictures will be available tonight :)

can get the console for £299 60GB model on shopto.net with the standard 12mth warranty, seing yours has 5ish months left what's the least you would accept
#20
Considering I can get £276 trade at CEX, I'll take £270 cash for the console itself.
#21
Is it the uk PAL model or is a NTSC?
Does it come with 3 pin plug,or 2pin and adaptor?
#22
*EDIT**Ooops double post*
#23
PAL model mate :) Standard plugs etc, everything you'd expect from a PAL model anyway :)
#24
Would you consider 285 for everything?

Also how can the PS3 play NTSC games if its PAL??? Is it region free???
#25
The games on PS3's are non-region specific, however the blu ray is region specific therefore you can play american games but not american blu rays

all the best

Sorry, £285 is too low. I can get £276 for the console and the extras are worth more than £14 (one game alone is worth more than £14)
#28
Would you accept £265 for the console and standard accessories e.g. Sixaxis controller, power lead, video cable, USB charging cable and manuals. I do not want anything else with it. I think that is a very fair rpice. Also delivery with Pay per drop would only be £6. If you agree then reply.

I'd prefer collection to be honest, any chance you could collect?
