Wow - that's cheap - was comparing it to this: http://www.amazon.co.uk/Sony-Blu-Ray-Disc-Remote-Control/dp/B000MWQTLU/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&s=videogames&qid=1229608047&sr=8-1

Price of Blue Ray remote reduced to £11 delivered

how about £10 delivered 1st class recorded.
#6

I'll match this offer :)

not sure about this noobie match rubbish....but for the extra £1 so £11 in total to cover the recorded delivery extra cost...
#9
I would rather sell at £11 - as this will include recorded delivery. If you want to take the risk and are happy for me to stick it in a letter box, then £10 will be fine - but this is purely at your own risk and certainly not recommended. Bear in mind that post office queues are around 1/2 an hour at the moment!

Can take a picture tonight if anyone needs one.

Okay - accepted if paid by Paypal gift

I can either get my wife to queue up this afternoon in the post office and send out, or will take a picture this evening and will send out tomorrow.
#11
Ok will take to PM for payment details.
#12
Money sent via paypal gift.
#13
Confirm money received - will be sent to day, first class recorded.

PS3 remote Sold

Controller and HDMI lead still available

Why do people insist on record delivery? You do know its only tracked once at the post office, and once when its delivered? If it goes missing anywhere in between its no better off then being sent 1st class. It also doesn't give any more insurance then standard 1st class providing you get proof of postage.
#15
is the controller dual shock ???

Because it proves that it got to the buyer and it has been signed for.... so if a buyer says well I never got it you have proof they did... unlike normal mail where the buyer can say he didn't get it when he really did.

Always the sellers duty to ensure it gets to the buyer. Recorded delivery is for the sellers piece of mind.

If a post[wo]man doesn't manage to find you at home they still need to get a signature. If they leave the item with a neighbour, you can find out what the signature says (after some hassle in the Royal Mail customer services blackhole) & you may be lucky to track down which random member of your local area has kept the parcel & "forgotten" about it [as happened to a delivery of mine... six... weeks... later... after I ended up getting a refund from the seller].

Also, if nobody is available for a signature the item is taken back to the sorting office & sometimes kept for re-delivery or collection (if a 'red' card is posted), and sometimes is lost never to seen again.

All this aside, if using PayPal they insist on some form of signature-on-delivery method to meet the criteria for compensation.

Proof of postage isn't good enough.

BFN,

fp.
