So I confirm i am sending you a £10 deposit before sending the rest of the money?
#29
Just to confirm. Buyer wants a HDMI lead as well which i am inluding for an extra £1 bringing total to £190 delivered.

£10 deposit to be paid today, and rest tomorrow.
#30
Deposit received (minus paypal charge). I will post once the rest of the money is received.

You will either have to send paypal gift or accept charges on your end.

Update:

The buyer claims that he would like the deposit back today as he needs the money to pay for something else.

But gaurantees he will pay me in full tomorrow.

When we agreed sale the buyer did not mention he could not pay immediately. After numerous pm's he stated that he will only pay once i showed pics, as he did not want to get scammed, to which i have complied. I pm'd pics first then uploaded them here afterwards.

He did not pay saying that he only had £70 in his account which he would pay now if i sent the item, i said no, i need full amount first as he is new to trading an the site. But if he doesn't pay then i will start offering it for sale in other threads, he then said he is 100% committed to the sale, so i suggested he leaves me a small deposit of £10 and pay the rest the day after when he has the money (to which he subsequently said it will take 3-5 days) and if he doesn't pay he will lose the deposit. I said i would need payment by saturday to which he said it will be a bit tight so i have given him a week to pay.

Today he has been pm'ing me for the £10 back, i have said i will not refund, and have given him the time to pay the rest, however, i doubt if i refund that 1 day will make a difference and that i will get the full money tomorrow. I took the deposit as a non refundable deposit so that he secures the deal.

Please can mods advise.

I said to Sagor this was refundable.

I need the deposit to pay for my sons tuition fees then I'll pay him for the item. But i badly need the deposit. I am new to the site and the community philosophy is not being echoed by sagor

Hi Sagor, If your buyer no longer wishes to complete the trade, then as a goodwill gesture perhaps you should refund their deposit and offer your item to other potential buyers.

Aksubzero, you're new here. Please note for future reference that once offer and acceptance have been made in a thread, the agreement is then final. You are in breach of forum rules by backing out or changing the terms after they've been agreed upon, and it's lucky you've entered into this trade with a well established member of the forum.

Hi JB, the buyer has constantly been sending me pm's with questions ect to hich i have answered fully and complied with, he kept saying he wanted it but would not pay and did not want me to offer it to anyone else, hence the deposit.

He came up with this story this morning about the £10 needed back for tuition, but i didn't think 1 day would make a difference, and there is no guarantee he will then pay.

Since i have put this info in the thread the buyer has given me the real reason as he has had letter through from his insurers that they will replace his stolen console and that he does not need two consoles so wan't his deposit back. He should not have messed me about like that and then lie to me.

No, you're absolutely right Sagor, your buyer is 100% in the wrong here. However, as mentioned, you're a well respected member of the trade forum and it'd be ideal if you could refund the deposit as a gesture of goodwill and put it down to a bad trade.
#36
I am sorry for any confusion.

I look forward to receiving my deposit back.

Apologies

Thanks JB.

I will refund the buyer shortly, but his behaviour has not been good and has spammed me all day. Had he been honest and not conducted himself the way he did i would have simply refunded him straight off.
