I've currently got a boxed PS4 with Killzone and Watch Dogs.

Looking for a straight swap for an Xbox.

i have an xbox one with cod ghosts and watchdogs, plus kinnect. however your lack of feedback and choice of profile picture concerns me a tad!
#4
Oh ok. I did the profile pic out of sheer stupidity. As for feedback I've only looked on here for items to sell. I've not put things on. How else can I relieve your concerns? Oh thanks for replying. Where abouts in the country are you?
#5
I'm based in kent, so any trade would have to be done via post. I think the only way I'd really consider it, would be if you were willing to post first, then once I received I would send mine the same day. As you can see I have good feedback on here and can be trusted. It's up to you though.

I will also mention that my xbox does have some scratching to the glossy top panel, due to where I have been resting the controller when not using it. I can provide pictures tho before any trade is agreed.

Cheers

Ps I was joking about the profile pic! :p

Ah right it's a difficult one then. I've got no guarantee once i've sent mine that you'll send your over to me. No disrespect to you of course. If you were closer then we could have met but you living that far away doesn't seem to be an option.
#7
Well I suppose your guarantee is the fact that I have completed 40 trades on here without any problems, I've sold high value items, including consoles, mobile phones etc, take a look at my feedback

I understand completely. It's of no disrespect to you at all. Its just a major concern however good your feedback is that i'm sending a large valuable item in the post before i receive anything back. Not that I would ask you to do the same either. Its a shame there is nothing else we can do. Is there a reason why you are interested in swapping your xbox?
#9
I'm looking to swap because since I got it all of my mates have gone and got ps4's, so I'd like to be able to play them online
#10
Ah right I see. Any other suggestions of you could offer to alleviate my concerns based on what we've discussed?
#11
I would provide you with all my person details, name, address, landline phone number, you can call me. I also have feedback on avforums and eBay. Other than that I don't know what to suggest really :(
#12
Ok no worries appreciate your assistance on this. Sorry to be difficult. Do you have the box for the xbox, and all the necessary leads and so on? who would you use to send the package?
#13
Yeah I've got everything that it came in, and with. Has a headset as well. I usually use Royal Mail, purely because I live right near the post office.
#14
Go for it winky, even if he does do a runner he wont be able to get away as you can just call the police with his details. He seems like a good guy too, it takes a lot of time to build up that amount of feedback.
#15
Ok here's anoption for you Sparxuk. If I was to arrange a courier for a set time and date for a pick up and drop off at the same time would that be feasible?
#16
Hmm I'm not so sure about that, without meaning to sound disrespectful, it still involves a lot of risk on my part, there is a chance of you sending something that is not as described, or faulty etc. I'm not for the life of me saying that is what you would do, however being a relatively new member with few post and no feedback, I can't open myself to that kind of risk.

I have been an active member of this site for over 6 years, and have built up a good reputation as a buyer and seller, if you can use that reputation to help ease your mind and go ahead as I've suggested than great, if not I'll have to let it pass and wish you luck with your hunt for a trade

Cheers

I understand, I think its not something we are going to agree on so its best left as it is. Its a shame as I do genuinely think you are a sound guy but I can't risk it with the amount a value and distance between us. I would offer to drive and an exchange with you but it just would be worth it in petrol for me. Sorry again.

Lads why dont you both use a middle man someone on here you can both trust give him a fiver each and you both send your items to the trusted middle man and he sends them off to each of you?
#19
I don't know anyone on here. To be fair it looks well suspicious from his point of view so I can't blame him for that. Thats why I thought about the courier because at least then theres a middleman who is there just to pick up mine and drop it off at his then pick his off and drop it off with me. I can't really think of an alternative solution.

You will only get the same offers as above on this site with your feedback, be rare to get someone close for an exchange.
With his feedback I would of done it if I was in your shoes.

You may aswell list elsewhere mate no one is going to send you their xbox without you sending your ps4 first and as mentioned above it's extremely unlikely you'll get a local trade

well that is a shame.

i would have posted the xbox on the day i got the ps4, and sent you tracking details straight away. oh well never mind
#23
Right what's your postcode.
#24
ill private message you it

First of all you will need to value your PlayStation 4 console.

I would also advise posting an image, or a couple of images of it, with your user name at HotUKDeals.com & today's date written on paper (or some other medium) within the image(s).

This is not mandatory, unless a member of the site's staff requests it.

If sparxuk can afford it, perhaps an outright purchase of the console is an option, but only sending you half (or another fraction) of the total price in advance. You can then send the console, & the remainder of the payment can be made.

Then the XBox One (after being valued & images taken) can be sold directly back to you.

Of course, there is no guarantee that you would buy the XBox One but either way you need to value the PS4 to comply with this Forum's guidelines.

Finally, you are under no obligation to send any item in advance of full payment.

Other members may request it, but they cannot expect you to comply.

It just helps build trust for future trading.

PS. Exchanging details by eBay's messaging system (or AVForums, or any other forum where you already have established feedback) may also help alleviate some concerns.

PPS. This is not a free "bump". I have "reported" my comment so the staff are aware of the lack of a valuation of your item.

winkypoos can you please add an asking price for valuation purposes to your opening post and also add some photos of the items showing their current condition with your username and date beside them to one of your existing thread posts (using edit)

Regarding trade obligations / payment / Trading Advice please review trade forum guidelines in full before completing your sale

My item is listed here
http://www.hotukdeals.com/for-sale-trade/xbox-one-plus-2-games-1946774#post22225422
With pictures and valuation.

I have no way implied that winkypoos is obliged to send first, just merely that I would only be comfortable in trading if he sent first. I have said that it is his choice, and if he is not happy with that, then fair enough. :)

In fairness the deal was only going to go ahead if I had posted my item off first. So do think that meant i was obliged to send mine first. This has now got well out of gand. I did offer a solution to organise a courier to arrange a pick up and drop off system but that was flatly refused.
