PSP charging by usb

I have a older fat psp, can this be charged by usb and if does anyone have a cable to do this as mine doesn't!

It can't be charged from the USB port, but you can get a dual charger type thingy.

Not sure on 4.01 but on 3.90 its somewhere on the recovery menu

Yep, using something similar right now and works well - would be hand if it could charge directly with a normal USB cable but this solution is reasonable enough.

I'm on 3.80M33-5 and if I hold the right shoulder button when turning on to go to the recovery menu, there is an option for configuration, towards the bottom there is an option for "charge battery when usb cable plugged" change it to enable and it will charge when the usb is plugged in. Although mine is a slim & lite so I can select the option in my system settings anyway
