Sounds like a bargain... if it is as unmarked as you mentioned & the memory stick is a genuine product.

Do you know when it was purchased originally?
Is any warranty remaining?
Do you have the receipt to include with your sale?

Is it a UK model?

Is the rest of the casing & the silver ring on the UMD door just as unmarked as the screen?

BFN,

fp.

Amazon are selling Japanese PSPs? That's a bit odd!?!

Either way, if you have photos that would be helpful. Thanks.

PS. With the custom firmware have you swapped around the [X] & [O] buttons to make them like the UK [Accept] & [Cancel] configuration (unlike the Japanese configuration the other way around; [X] Cancel & [O] Accept)?

I think he meant he bought the memory card from amazon :)

No sorry i purchased the Sony memory card a few months back on Amazon, The PSP i purchased via a friend last year. It is still set at 'O' for Accept 'x' for cancel. Will take a couple of pictures now and uload

Apparently the Japanese has a better screen on than the European one

I have the Japanese one, although never compared to see what the difference is

Only the very first batch of Japanese models had the Thin Film Transistor [TFT] Liquid Crystal Display [LCD] screen components made by Sharp that were on sale in Japan (late 2004 to mid-2005), as opposed to lesser-quality Samsung screens used elsewhere in the world.

Now all regions have the Samsung-branded TFT LCD screens in the original ("fat & heavy") PSP units.

From what has been said already I doubt that this particular unit has the superior screen (unless the original owner bought it in the time period I mentioned).

that isn't a problem you can easily change that back to normal with custom firmware.

would you be able to do the magic gate test to see whether the memory card is magic gate supported or not please?
would you be interested in an offer of part cash, part cex voucher?
#12
anyone know how to upload images

Would you mind sending me a message from your eBay Account to mine (same user name as here) to prove that this feedback is your own?

Thanks.

The Sharp looks much nicer with more vibrant colours, with skin tones looking much better on the Sharp.

Yes, thanks... I spotted your transaction being the only feedback (here at HotUKDeals).

Message from eBay received. Thank you.

I'm still wondering if the silver UMD drive door ring is scratched or not.

Could you offer any more photos of a top-down view of the back?

Agreed. The feedback on eBay where the seller here has both bought (2 items) & sold (5 transactions) is a better indication of trading history.

One bad feedback... but by the looks of it the other party was a numptie.

No scratches from what i can see tho, it;s in mint condition
#33
yeah i put my bike on ebay asking for anyone with zero feedback to contact me and UK bidders only, so some guy from slovakia with zero feedback at the time hit the buy it now for 6k button then wanted me to drive 200 miles to meet him at a petrol station, when i reported it to Ebay he claimed i was racist as i would not deal with foreignors and then left me negative feedback

I've had two parties like that. One from the US & one from France. Both didn't realise that the UK has a different currency to their respective countries. The guy from the US got really abusive about it. And yes, I got the negative feedback.

Will wait until tomorrow then for the photo(s). If you get an unconditional offer in the meantime, please accept it.

May also be worth confirming that your price includes Royal Mail Special Delivery.

Is that the case?

Either way... will catch up tomorrow...

Thanks. I would be looking for the Royal Mail Special Delivery option though, as claming back from other Courier companies can be a nightmare & from past experience I find they either cannot find my delivery address or refuse to delivery to it. The Royal Mail does not have these issues.

apologies yes it will be through royal mail via post office with tracking code provided and well packed. Will uploads a couple more pics in the light tomorrow
