I have an original series "Phat & Heavy" ("PSP-1003 PB") UK Piano Black Sony PlayStation Portable [PSP] console that has had Dark_AleX's 2.71 SE-C Firmware installed, but presently has 3.30 OE-A upon it. I have no plans to upgrade further as I have just purchased a "Slim & Lite" model.
The Black casing is unmarked & the screen has no dead pixels or scratches. There is one scratch (around 1cm in length) on the silver 'ring' on the rear (upon the Universal Media Disc [UMD] door), as well as a few other (minor in comparison) marks. Please see the photos below.
Some eBay sellers (and other retailers too, I suspect) do sell metal discs with an adhesive side that you can fix to the rear of a PSP covering the ring on the door to give a 'brand new' look, if you wished the console to look 100% as new. Alternatively, search eBay for psp metal ring & youll turn up a complete replacement door for £1.99 (from seller: electronic-repairs)!
The issue with the metal ring would not detract from playing on the console (as it is obviously on the underside of the unit). I would say the console is at least in very good condition if not better. I have used it solely inside & within a smoke-free environment.
I have charged the battery fully & it is reporting 100% full capacity (initially with 8 hours & 49 minutes usage remaining, but this dropped to just under 6 hours within the photo images I took yesterday morning).
The internal clock is functioning as expected without any loss of time.
The 4-directional D-Pad buttons, analog 'nub' stick, shoulder Left & Right buttons, iconic PlayStation buttons [Triangle, Circle, Cross & Square], [Home], [-] Volume [+], Brightness control button, Sound ["Note"] button, and the [Select] & [Start] buttons all fine & function without issue.
The UMD drive door closes completely flush to the unit.
I can include a UK AC/DC charger & a soft/zipped 'Gamexpert' case for it (that you can have I as I have no use it). The case is not within the photos (below).
I could source a memory card, but to be honest, these are so cheap these days, you may as well buy a brand new one.
I would like to despatch by Royal Mail Special Delivery to protect the interests of myself & the buyer when the console is in transit.
I was looking for around £70 inclusive of Special Delivery (for the console, AC charger, and case). Payment by PayPal (using the as gift option to avoid fees, or £72.67 so the net result is £70 to me; see [ PayPal Fee Calculator ]), but please make me an offer if you wish.
Yes, it is Christmas, but serious offers only invited please. I do not need to sell the unit, but it is pointless me keeping it if it is not going to be used.
I can take additional photos upon request & drop into a subsequent comment in this thread.
Thanks for your interest.
