Have to say that even though this is a great PC for Home office etc saying it is a gaming PC is a bit misleading,To play recent games you will need a £80 graphics card and a PSu added to the cost,

And then keep updating it for newer games, that's what I don't like about the PC gaming, you'll have to keep updating as the technology updates.

it will play any of the latest games, sure you wont be able to crank up anti aliasing etc, but it will play them on low/medium settings at a decent frame rate with no lag,

then add a 512mb graphics card and a wifi card oh and is this motherboard H-SLI compatible? No, no it's not

Crysis 3fps 1024 x 768 medium settings.Like i said nice PC but calling it a gaming PC is misleading,If you bought a PS3 and you could only play the latest games with the settings turned down and got 3fps you would take it back,

Its a decent PC and will be a better Mobo than the PCworld ones but just wanted to point out that you will need a Gpu and PSu to play recent games

this has remaining 9 months return to base warranty, and cpu has its full 3 year warranty, memory has 2 year warranty and mobo has 9 months remaning on the warranty

proccesor 150
mobo 70
cpu 30
case 30
ram 50
OS 80

thats how much it would cost to build the pc so i dont think im ripping anyone off for this price!

now im afraid the PC i can only let go for cash, under strict orders from other half.
however 380 quid DELIVERED OVNO is the price
with monitor and keyboard and mouse i will go to 480 OVNO! this is a good price for a PC with pretty damb decent ONBOARD graphics, which can be used for hybrid SLI which is amazingly good!!!! it is a good mobo and does anything you need or want it to, just because it doesnt cost 400 quid doesnt mean it isnt good, now please can you guys stop spoiling my thread and kindly mind your own business (an apolgie would also be nice)

psu is 360w so WILL cope with something like an 8500gt set up with H-SLI which will EASILY play crysis and any other games, therefore you'd only need to spend 30-50 quid on the card, but if you wanted to go overkill with a 9800gtx or something then be my guest, but a new psu would be needed

*deep inhale*

right, rant over. no more thread spoiling please

many thanks

dude I'd stick to your xbox 360!!
#34
Where did you get those prices?

Just looking at the processor, it's only £115 here and generally pc components have only got more expensive over the last few months with the value of the £.

http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=CP-216-AM

By cpu I presume you mean PSU? What model of psu is it? Being only 380W would be the kind of psu that would come with the case unless it's a true power model?

Please don't consider this as thread spoiling as that is not my intention as per section 10 of the FS/FT rules. Just this is a community and people tend to look out for each other.

Consider this a free bump anyways.

Oh no it won't.......

I have the ever so slightly faster 8300GS ( which uses a card)and even that is terrible personally.
My old 9800XT PC which I used to own could play Crysis and COD4 etc at lowish settings but it played them without lag.

When I played them with my 8300gs the game lagged to the extent where it becomes unplayable. When I tried GH3 PC last night I had to set everything to low to be able to play it properly and even then it occasionally lagged.

The mobo is stated in one of the other times the OP tried to sell this pc Tim. It's ASROCK and can be had for just over £60 delivered at Misco I believe.
