#3
Yep i saw it working in the pc i purchased, then it was formatted

Having checked ebay and prices for the SATA equivalent new, its almost worthless to be honest.

I'll offer £7.
#5
Nah i'd rather keep it as a spare tbh
#6
£23.- ? you can't be serious.

That includes delivery :whistling:

Fair enough - I wouldnt go a penny over £7 - doubt anyone else would either. But I agree, would keep it as a spare for that price :)

Oh well, just thought someone might have wanted a cheap drive, didn't realise they were cheap to buy nowadays, should have done my homework first
#10
i will give you £10 all in posted to stoke on trent.

if it is fully working.
#11
£2 delivered?
#12
£23 is actually a decent price for it considering what similar 80gb IDE drives are going for on ebay Mr apples especially considering its new.

People on this site simply look for silly bargains and try to barter you silly .

May as well keep it for a back up if people on this site are only willing to pay £7-10 or post it on ebay
#13
Those hard drives are SATA forsaken, and brand new - the ones on ebay. Believe me, I looked.

You will get around £10 MAX on ebay.
#14
Nope theyre not. Look at following in completed listings

Item number: 150266622363 - Maxtor 80gb IDE (which imo is *****) 24.90
Item number: 190235969072 - Fujitsu 80gb IDE (not highly regarded) 26 (several others sold at 25)

Few others sold for around 10 but his asking price wasnt as crazy as you initially pointed out in your post
#15
They were brand new.

these guys are trying to rip you off.
hold onto it as a spare or put it into your current PC as a "my documents" back up.
#21
i can get a new one at £20 at overclockers near me, so a used one what you can not rma is only worth pea nuts i,e £12 tops.
#22
Finally, someone with some senses...
#23
As i said £15 is the lowest because i will keep it for a spare drive, i have 2 drives in my pc at mo so no good yet but oneday it might be.

As you are contradicting us(who have given reasons for the cheap offers), can you please back up your claim that we are "trying to rip him off"?
#25
Will it fit a laptop?

No sorry mate, it's a pc HD

Hey apples33, have you still got the HDD. I would be interested if it is £15 including delivery as my eBay order just got cancelled because somebody lost the hardrive in the warehouse and don't have a replacement.

What model is it?
