:whistling: who me :whistling: ,no, I wish!

would love to take this off your hands but would rather pay the extra 7 quid and get it somewhere where i can take it back! good luck mate

It comes with guarantee and is brand new. I wouldn't imagine that you would be taking it back anywhere within the year, but I would pass on the receipt if it is required. Great deal for someone in Glasgow, as I don't think you can get them for £285 at the moment, and it could be collected tomorrow...

Hi people, I need to upgrade my Dell Inspiron 6000 ram Memory 512MB TO 2GB. I am wondering if these memories are compatible? ( 2GB (2x1GB) / 800MHz / DDR2 / 200pin SoDIMM / DRAM Laptop Memory). Any idea ??:?:?

Why don't you do a little research or ask in your own thread in misc instead of thread crapping?

Welcome to the forum  Next time please ask somewhere in the misc section.

I think they will take without problem as DDR2 rams are backward compatible but can not guarantee. You'd better buy the ones with 667Mhz or even 533 to make sure :)

Trying to be helpful...

Did you buy via Mail Order?

If so, why not just send it back under the "Distance Selling Regulations"?

These state, amongst other terms, that "the consumer has a cooling-off period of seven working days."

If you have not exceeded this period, then you are within your rights to send it back (in the same condition you received it), for a full refund.

Yes, I did as a mof. I hadn't thought about that...I have a couple of days left before the 7 is up. If I don't get any takers, I might well do that, thanks.

"mod edit" it was not a thread bump, if you look the price had been dropped, ty.

Why not ring whomever you purchased it from today & get a returns reference before the seven day period is up?

If you manage to sell it, all well & good, otherwise you can then send it back as you cancelled the transaction within the designated timescale.

Just thinking that if you find a buyer, and they commit to the purchase, they may potentially back out & you may miss your chance of the return.

Good luck in any respect.

Hi i am willing to offer £250 cash and can pick up in glasgow tomorrow. As it is second hand.
let me know.

cheers Mark

Hi Mark,
It is brand new. Only taken out of the box to photograph. It has not been turned on, used, or played with in any way. Imagine walking in to PC world and buying one, currently £322.99.

http://www.pcworld.co.uk/martprd/store/pcw_page.jsp?BV_SessionID=@@@@0028877364.1233686688@@@@&BV_EngineID=ccdkadeggihgjedcflgceggdhhmdgmh.0&page=Product&fm=null&sm=null&tm=null&sku=906578&category_oid=

The person serving you opens the box, and takes out the computer to show you and check it. Then puts it back in. That's what this has had done to it. If that is what you call second hand, then please feel free to go and pay full price elsewhere, but thank you for your offer
#19
No problem, offer still stands what's the lowest you'll accept for pick up tomorrow, didn't you say you purchased online?

£294 at pixmania plus postage.

Mark, I think £285 is a good price. I will give you a copy of the receipt, and my full contact details should you encounter any problems over the year. A "2 week old" black one sold tonight on evilbay for £271.54, so I don't think I am asking too much?
#21
I'm out can only go to £260 max don't want too waste your time.

cheers mate.
#22
£63 less than PC World, too much too loose, but thanks all the same. You might get a second hand one for that  Cheers

Ebay no. - 370152915496. One week old blue one, 2 days to go, currently at £255 + £18.50 postage
#23
Send it back under dsr rules get all your money back less p&p:thumbsup:
#24
i'm after one of these in white but i reckon you would be better sending back mate they were going for £287 i think just a few days back with discount codes in dixons the only way you will get that kinda money is on ebay then you'll get stung by fees bringing your actual returns around the £260 mark
#25
I hear what you're saying, but if people where genuinely interested in buying one, then I would be up for discussing it. Look at the 2 I mentioned earlier, a 1 week old one currently sitting at £255 plus £18.50 postage and another 2 week old one that sold in excess of £270 earlier today. I think people are missing the point, it is brand new with receipt and guarantee, and people are offering 250 quid. They can't be bought for that, second hand or new...You can't exactly pick them up for 200 quid.
I have been using this site for over 2 years, so I thought I would offer it to fellow hukd'ers, as we all like a bargain, and that is what I am offering. Thank you for your interest.
#26
And i thought this site was supposed to be about bargains, you are wanting shop money £295 delivered is what you pay at dixons, currys with codes.

You were only offering £260, and I already thanked you, but declined your offer. You and I are also in Glasgow, so it could be delivered in person, saving on postage. I have highlited 2 which I seen on ebay, and the prices they are/were going for. Both of them were "second hand" as you put it, this is not. This is new, in box, with receipt. I don't know if the others that sold for in excess of £270 came with receipt... I would deliver personally to anyone in the Glasgow area for £280. If you can find me a cheaper brand new Samsung NC10 tonight that can be delivered for tomorrow for £280, I will give you it for free! :whistling:
Anyway, why are you still inputing to the thread, you are only prepared to pay £260, which I can GUARANTEE you will not get a brand new one for delivered. Unless you know people who are partial to a bit of ram raiding :-D

I think you're missing a point here that stuffs sold on HUKD are to save ebay and paypal fees for buyers mostly. the only thing you (the seller) benefit from is a bit more money, freedom of price and terms of sale/trade and instant fund into your account.
