Thanks for the info, Just thought someone might be able to make some use of it as there is still plenty of life left in it yet, if not gone by the time I get my new bed then will look into recycling it,
:-D

Freecycle is a site that you post your unwanted item onto then if someone local to you needs it they email you and ask to collect it. I suggested it because you're right, someone will probably be happy to make use of it, but it is more likely that someone local to you will see it on their freecycle site than here, if that makes any sense. I have managed to make great use of our local site and give away loads of stuff to people and groups in the area who need it.:)

just register like you did for this and then post. You wont need to add a pic as it will be snapped up right away!

on the left should be a link to page to post? or messages? just click on it and put OFFERED-POSTCODE-DESCRIPTION BRIEFLY then fuller description-no phone numbers or addresses. Does this work?

Remember to close this thread if you advertise it elsewhere, though, or you may get into trouble...

I did this yesterday but then how do I know if I have anyone interested?
#11
Just going to leave it on here as I know I did not do it properly on that site

or you can try www.realcycle.co.uk

An alternative to freecycle.....Works the same way as freecycle

oh you just look at your emails? if you go on freecycle and set your preferences you can have a digest of emails daily or as they come in..you can change settings as and when needed. If you have done it right you will get your posting in your emails? Hope this helps? it is a really good site-it also has a cafe so if you are looking for help you can post knowing everyone is local.
