Cheapest i have seen these for are £10 from ebay, why not use the normal aerial cable, as there is no difference in quaility.

Forgot the about the audio, dohhh, So the MegaDrive did not pump out stero out of the RF? thought it was like TV which does support Stereo out of the RF. I was only talking about the visual and i have a scart and the RF and i dont think on a system that old you can really notice the visual side.

As far as I know even things like PS1 was mono through RF.

Also to the OP the Megadrive 1 and Megadrive 2 have different scart leads available

Good Call, TBH I never used to have my audio coming out of the RF as i had an old amiga monitor i used to use, so used the headphone socket so thats why i never knew.... Here is the Blurb

"Stereo sound is output only through the headphone jack on model 1 systems and through AV out on model 2 systems along with mono signal.[29] Changes in the mixing circuit of late model 1 revisions, and all model 2's resulted in the hardware producing more distorted sound output than earlier models that bore the "High Definition Graphics" logo"
