Hi there,

I have seen on-line that with Selfridges staff discount you can get 35% off product. Well I'm getting married April next year and there is nothing more that my fianc?wants than a pair of Jimmy Choo wedding shoes.

We went to the one at Trafford Centre and found a beautiful pair for nearly £400. Since we're working on a budget I can't really afford that. I was hoping to see if someone out there would be willing to get me staff discount for the shoes.

In exchange I'm open to suggestions as to what to offer, if you have any ideas I'm happy to consider them. Also I'm willing to write a short story of this incident/helpfulness on our marriage website which is under construction

Thanks and hope to find that right person

Hey, Gareth, you've spelt your name wrong! :?
#2
sackable offence if anybody is willing to do this
#3
you do realise it would be gross misconduct and a sackable offence for anyone to do this? even if you find someone who would do it I hardly think they would want it mentioned on your marriage website.

staff discounts are for staff only-I work for asda and would lose my job in an instant if I even allowed a member of my family to use my discount.
#4
spammed as i dont think this should be allowed on here as dishonest and fraudulent
#5
I dont think that if you got any offers they would want thier name up in lights on the web telling everyone how they defrauded their employers and gained monies from doing so.

But cash is king - you might get some offers of ahem.... "help" for a donation to their favourite charity ;-)

to clarify that-yes my wife and kids do of course-I was referring to allowing my brothers or similar to use it. asda monitor staff discount usage very carefully-every year they sack about 500 staff for abuse of the system.

Oh, that's wierd, because you said staff discounts are for staff only. Oh well, one rule for you, one rule for another, eh?

How about if you have friends/relations/etc pop round? Do you have to say 'Sorry, can't offer you any food or drink, it's for staff only'? :whistling:
