Very sorry guys... I'm pretty new here, how do I get to add a photo?
It's asking for the URL but I thought that was a web address... not a photo link?

Is the £230 for the Decca box a typo??
#13
Afraid not, it's worth a hell of a lot, Decca supported many artists...
#14
How much would it have retailed at, back when it was a new thing?
#15
Sorry but I don't know. All I know is it's approximate value now is £400, but I don't have the space so I'm trying to sell it cheaper, plus it is a little damaged.

Ok, then do you have any provenance for it? It looks very much like a casing for one of Decca's late 1950s or early 1960s record players, which go for around £120 in great condition at various auction houses. Could you point me towards anywhere that verifies what you say it is, and also an indication as to where you get its £400 value from, please?

Only what my father tells me I'm afraid...
