Hi guys, as per title I have a copy of the original Silent Hill for the Playstation.

Boxed w/instructions and non-platinum, the disc and instructions are in great nick. External box is not cracked or broken, but there's a bit of sticker residue on the front and a couple of scuffs on the back.

Asking for £8.50 delivered.

Any questions then feel free to ask

Can you be more specific about the condition of the disc? PS1 discs are obviously pretty temperamental so I'm keen to know exactly what condition it is in? How many scratches/scuffs and how deep?

Also, are you willing to post first?
dennett316#3
There are some minor scratches on the disc, but they're very much surface scratches, no deep ones.

It's hard taking a photo of those discs, especially on a webcam. If you can see on the top left of the disc under my fingers, that's the part of the disc that has the most little scuffs, and they're very fine. I've angled the light so they show up better on the pic, Looking directly at the disc you barely see them, and angled towards the light they show up as very fine marks. Nothing deep, and had no skips when playing through the PS3.

As for posting without payment, I'm not very comfortable with that purely because I've seen people on AV Forums with 50-odd feedback ask that of new guys then not pay them. I have 243 positive unique feedback on Av forums (305 total) - http://www.avforums.com/forums/itrader.php?u=167106 - and 125 on ebay under pdennett316. Could do half and half if you take at near asking, pay the other half after you've checked it works.

Just the booklet and cover art. What other inserts, out of curiosity because it was listed as complete when I bought it.

i dont actually know what it is, was just looking a couple of ebay listings for it there and theressome random little konami thing that comes in some of them with a few little pics on it or sumthing... not that it really matters

just remembering what a good game this was.. i was a bit young for it back in the day but my dad completed it after some marathon slogg, he always played games on hard and there were multiple times in this game he was down to the combat knife slashing away! such a good effort from the old fella

and then in contrast ive actually watched a bloke do a silent hill speed run on youtube, turns out you dont need to kill any of the enemies except for the bosses in the game, which is ok aslong as you know where your going

I like the game, but I'm terrible at it and that makes me lose interest in a game quickly. I can do Resident Evil games fine, but Silent Hill always flummoxes me.

Joeprosho is right about the other inserts. There was a Konami Product Catalogue and a Silent Hill Product Catalogue that came with the game. I expect that the person who sold it to you probably didn't realise that those were ever included.

I'll offer £6.50 delivered, just to experience that bit at the beginning with the flying thing smashing through the diner window. That scared me to death when I was younger. As long as I can get your relevant details (which is part of the rules anyway) then half before and half on delivery will be fine in terms of payment.

Game received and briefly tested. Everything seems in order. I've sent the other half of the payment across now, and will leave feedback in a second. Thanks :)
