Simcards wanted- O2, Vodafone, Virgin

Hiya!

I'm now buying O2, Vodafone and Virgin sims, at the following rates;

[* O2; 65p
[* Vodafone; 30p
[* Virgin (£5 credit) ; £1.50
(including postage)
(if selling over 150 sims add £5 for postage fees)

I don't need any of the packaging, just the plastic cards that they come attached to (see pictures below) , making postage very cheap for the sender. Any quantities considered, and can pay through Ebay/paypal if you like or bank transfer when they arrive.
Obviously it will be better if we go through Ebay for a while until I've proved my honesty.
PM me for further details,
or Email me on; [email protected]
I'll make sure to check these daily so you will hear back from me within 24 hours.
If you have any questions, feel free to ask.

What is your ebay ID?

If selling through ebay the cheapest way to sell them is high P&P and very low Buy It Now price.

Do you want Orange or T-Mobile sims?

I have loads of sim cards, I'll have a count up later.
#3
funnymonkey, what would be the threshold, i.e. min no. of sims you accept?

I have set up one just for these, it is funnymoneysims.

I'm no monkey(!), but there's no minimum/maximum amount.

Currently not taking these, only O2, Voda and the £5 virgin ones. Maybe soon though...

lol sorry blurry eyes:geek:

You opened this ebay account today.
I don't like the idea of BACS after you have received them. Are you joking??
Is your Paypal account verified and is your address confirmed with Paypal?

i can only go on my findings, and i had no problems what so ever. Instant payment via pay pal at the agreed price

good to have you on board dinosteveus, can we refer to you as the 'resident ebay guru'

been doing a bit of investigating on ebay myself this morning, i won an item and upon investigating further can see i may have fallen victim to what they call 'shill bidding'. have already paid and feel gutted. just hope i receive now.
#14
The only thing i would say to you hanif, If you have proof that shill bidding has taken place, you need to report it to ebay. Although i must amit trying to get proof that it has taken place is very difficult to do

The OP may be OK, I just wish he would answer my question. :x I have a lot of Sim cards that I could sell him but I'm happy to wait or sell them elsewhere.

What was the item number, maybe you could confront him with the evidence and get it for the price it should have been? I hate shill bidders, they are stealing from bidders.
E-book sellers are just as bad.
#16
Ok maybe scammer was a bit harsh and apologise  ,seems funny tho that he hasnt been on again.
I shall watch his ebay for a few weeks and see what happens then report back

Ebay won't do anything after the sale but you could watch for it happening again and report them.
I've found in the past it is fairly easy to prove shill bidding. Even a guy who made his bidders private ( all of his auctions were private, so you did not know who the bidders were ) was removed by ebay.

From that item number, why does he keep feedback private?
your only buying sim cards its not like your buying anything untoward.

I also got someone removed from ebay, found a lovely pair of boots i REALLY wanted.
Got outbidded, then looked at her feedback, shed sold the boots THREE times already to the same person.
Looking all through her feedback i found shed set up 2 fake accounts t bid against each other, and had been stupid enough to leave feedback for every single item the 2 fake accounts had won, in total about 70 feedbacks for each of the 2 fake accounts, and the 2 fake accounts had left feedback for her on EVERY item they "won"

Im so glad now i didnt win the boots, shill bidding is wrong :(
#20
OH and i forgot to add, in the previos listings of these boots (supposdly designer) theyd been listed under allsorts of "different designers" so i doubt they were designer at all.

Shot herself in the foot.

All of which i gladly reported to ebay :)
#21
This is when Ebay should really look more closely to their company, this is why they loose so much business because of this.
Iv never heard of the word shill bidding?

The only time you make your feedback private is when your selling stuff like lingerie and toys etc that Should be kept private.
As for sim cards ??? why should the feedback be kept secret for them ?
#22
No, you dont need to make your feedback private for that.

When you make a listing you have the option to "keep user ids private" this means people cant see its you whos bidding.

Under this, feedback can be recieved and left by the seller, and people simply cant look what the item was.

People with private feedback alwas seem a bit dodgy to me

That's changing soon. If you sell you cannot have private feedback. :-D

ah ok, i dont believe in people who use private feedback, thats VERY DODGY for some reason, makes you not trust the seller.... in this case the guy selling the sims.

Thats brill news

And yes, i buy from people who have private feedback, just aslong as theres no negatives - even thought you cant read whats been wrote, you can still see if theyve recieved any negatives :)

But i wont buy from someone with a number of negatives, or who have private with negatives, obviously got something to hide.

We need to go back a bit here. 'Mud sticks' :-( There may be nothing wrong with the OP and nobody is accusing him of shill bidding or anything else illegal.

Some sellers/buyers have 'private' feedback for a legit reason such as 'friends & Family cannot see what they have bought etc.
#27
cool no problem, everything good :-D :-D

That item number is for the sim cards i sold yesterday. My feedback is left as private because of something i have bought off someone else who if the guys i work with found out would rip me to shreds.

nothing dodgey about that is there.

I cannot see much in your history other than************ ;-)
'Private' feedback is only 'private' if you think it is. You can always go back at least 30 days to see what has been bought, or sold for that matter by that person.

MOD edit - removed items according to member's wishes

NO problems :)

luckily for me its more than 30 days ago then, but thanks for playing private eye, I wished you would have pm'd me before making public to all and sundry what i may/may not have bought and sold after all it is private information about ME

You may know how to do it but im pretty damn sure my work mates don't otherwise i would have been a little more than red faced:oops:

Bleedin hell all this because one guy offered to buy some sim cards. Its nearly getting as farcical(sp) as the dixons thread

I didn't reveal anything that others cannot find, ebay have a help topic on how to check your buyers/sellers history.
If I saw anything ??? I would have kept quiet.

Wahey, maybe funnymoney you can shed some light on some of the issues that have been discussed please

many thanks,

Muwolve please lighten up matey, no one is getting on there soap boxes, this is a general discussion and only some people feel more strongly about private feedbacks than other people, i for one have had BAD dealings with private sellers.

everything is all good and were just having a topical discussion (nothing compared to the dixons thread)
