Bought a 2nd hand replacement Sky Digibox for my Mum - came with a card. She already had a card so this is surplus to requirements.
Shipping/Payment:
Asking price £15 payment via paypal gift. Will post 1st class. Or by any other method if reimbursed.

Yes it is a blue card with a yellow house on it - looking to clear a tenner, so will keep your offer in mind. If you were able to move to £11.50 which is halfway between what you were offering and what I wanted then its a deal.
As for the new scam from sky - cannot comment other than to say that the card was origionally a freeview card, not a subscription card.

Trouble is you still have to phone sky to marry the card to the box, I think:thinking:

True, sometimes you can get a card and box for around £20 from car boot, may need to go down and have a look?

Seems like a good bet - personally I hate the places, especially indoor ones, crowds really get on my nerves.

Channel 4 is now free on 104...........try it.........take your card out.........it stays on........cnannel surf....come back.......still clear...............but if you boot up your box from cold without a card you dont get the choice..........but you can boot up (plug in) the digibox with any type of card,eg credit, debit, loyalty in fact anything that will go in the slot and the box will boot up for the ftv channels.........but you wont get 5............

still for sale?

if card already freeview then it 90% should be ok as new box will just set itself up to the card only needs to be married for subscription channels

its the cards that were subscription they charging for changeover

also good trick if you got box in beedroom with no card use you existing card in that box let it activate the channels then remover the card sometimes it leaves freeview on that box as long as you dont remove the power worth trying for cheap multiroom

Yep came this morning, thanks - but it looks like it's dead :(. No Channel 5, SKY 3, etc
I'll try the 3 day trick of leaving it in the box - hopefully it'll come back to life.

I tried the card myself before I sent it to you - seemed fine then. The box it came in then went to by Mothers with her card, worked fine until she turned off the digibox - when she turned it back on sky had sound but no pictures and would not respond. I tried a forced software update and this seemed to sort out the problem. Hope this helps!

It came back to life overnight - it must have been inactive for a while and turned it self off. It needs a signal from Sky to keep alive - I think at least every five weeks. When inactive it works with all FTA channels, but non of the FTV channels.
But anyway it's working fine now. Feedback left

Good pleased about that - I would not want you or anyone to think that I had tried to 'fiddle'or 'cheat' you. Will also leave feedback.
