I currently have sky in my living room and now im wanting to get it in my bedroom.
I live in a flat btw.
Any ideas of how i do this? Also i want to watch seperate channels.
For example if my other half is watching sports, i can go in bedroom and watch the music channels etc
Can i just buy a sky box and plug it in and into the outside ariel, or do i need a cable going from the sky dish?
Sorry if i sound dense i just have no clue.

you will have to get multi room if you want to watch subsription channels, if you just want the free sat channels all you need is a old sky box, some cable and a dual LNB for the dish or a seperate feed if its a shared one.

Yes, you can have a second box in a different room and watch different channels. You can have the second box with just the 'free' channels, but you will need to run a cable from it to your dish. You may need a quad LNB on the dish itself, to enable you to connect an extra cable to it - but my techie knowledge is a bit limited.

Otherwise, you can pay Sky to have Multiroom - which is about £10 a month - that way, you can get the same channels onto your second box as the ones you have on your main box.
