As i said it is coming up to a year old or is a year old. The Apple warranty website isn't the best or very clear whether there is any cover.

Clear as mud - serial number is VM94835K9G5. Does not tell you any status whatsoever.

Putting in the serial for my 4 month old macbook yields the same results so not very clear mate. I can only presume that the warranty has expired.

Says product isn't registered, that's probably why. You might wanna do that and update the warranty info, anyone paying 400 quid for this would probably want to know if it's covered or not, I sure would. Thanks.

Won't let me unless i send them my proof of purchase which i don't have as it was a present and I doubt that my uncle would still have it. If i put a date in of last November for example it wont let me go back that far without sending a proof of purchase. I will however contact Apple tomorrow if you would like to check if there is any coverage.

If you are willing to post first, I will offer £350 delivered. Payment by BT

Or I can put down some deposit via normal PP, and once I received it, I will send full payment via BT and then you refund me the PP deposit.

Or alternatively if you ever come to Manchester..I will pay cash for £350..lol

The highest I could go to would be 360£ inclusive of p&p but would do half before delivery and half after receiving the product.
Would also prefer bank transfer too and if payment recieved today or in the morning i will post it tomorrow.

Willing to make instant half payment tonight, if all goes well.

I will leave it until the morning now. I would send via a courier instead of Royal Mail as they become very expensive over 2kg which i think this may be with the power pack and cd pack. It will of course be still sent next day whichever courier i use and be fully insured.

I think my offer is quite valid at 360£ inclusive of P&P as its not more than 10 quid for courier (from Parcel2go.com) which matches your price of 350 + P&P. But at the end of the day its your item and I am willing to wait.

Gosh...I am out as don't want to get into a fight here.

To OP: Please consider posting first/ half payment methods only if the buyer has VERY good feedbacks and look at their history of trading for your own protection

Only if you are closer to Manchester, I would have come and pick it up.

Drmsa and lui - I will consider your offers if I receive no better ones by the morning. Following heovang's advice I am a little cautious doing half and half with only 10 feedback which is why ill need to consider the offers. Thanks everyone for the interest so far :)

Thanks for the reply. The only reason why I am offering half and half payments is you donot have a very high feedback either. And rightly I have to protect myself as well.

Rightly you do but you yourself only have 10 feedback for low value items. I have an ebay account with 50+ feedbacks and 100% positive. I am happy to accept your offer if you pay the full amount. If so it is already boxed up and i just need to arrange the courier as soon as funds have cleared. If not then I will offer to Lui which will be around £360 including the postage...

Thanks for accepting the offer. Would you be happy if I were to pay you 200£ at the moment, and the remaining after. I am a genuine buyer. I have 90, 100% feedback on ebay. I am willing to share my contact details over pm as well. If it makes a difference.
I can guarantee you instant payment now. Its just because of your low feedback here as well, I am not very confident paying up an entire 360£ and I am not getting anything in return (that it would happen).
