Bought the above experience day for the girlfriend for her birthday in March and booked the thrills for her. Approx 3 months waiting list! So I booked the drives for the next available date which at the time was Saturday 21st June and she was thrilled and looking forward to the day. Unfortunately, now she has just changed jobs and her new employers won't give her the day off to do the experience as "there are too many people off already that week" so we are unable to get there and back in time for her to start work so reluctantly having to sell the experience :(

Details are as follows:

This is your chance to drive both of these cars - the stunning Lamborghini Gallardo and its beautiful step sister, the Audi R8. The R8 might be half the price but with a waiting list that reads like a fantasy football team, this is the car that any self respecting Premiership player or city boy wants to be seen in.

* Drive on our fantastic 1.8 mile purpose built circuit at Prestwold Hall, Leicestershire
* ARDS racing instructors
* Welcome, introduction and briefing on circuit driving techniques
* 5 miles demonstration with instructor driving the BMW Alpina D3
* 7 miles driving an Audi R8
* 7 miles driving a Lamborghini Gallardo
* Individual Driving Certificate
* Individual Driving Assessment from your Instructor

The thrills are booked for Saturday 21st June. Lamborghini Thrill is booked for 2.30pm (arrive by 2.10) and the R8 Thrill is booked for 3.45 (arrive by 3.25).

More information available from Everyman Racing at http://www.everymanracing.co.uk/audi_r8_and_lamborghini_30.htm

Original cost for the experience was £199 plus £4.50 for the presentation box. Willing to accept £170. Have spoken to Everyman today about rearranging but they said it wasn't possible so we could sell it on. All we need is the buyers name, e-mail address and telephone number. Once we confirm details they'll transfer it into buyers name and e-mail confirmation.

If you booked it before she got a new job, in theory the employer should infact give her the day off, as it was booked before she was employed so they should have to honour it. Would be similar with a holiday if you booked 1 before she was employed there, they would have to let her have it!

well before she started she told them about our holiday in september but forgot the date for this so now they're saying no to the day off

Dont think it should matter, she had it booked before she was employed, even if she couldnt remember the date, she should still be entitled to it off or ask the employer to refund the price of the experience.

i've had this conversation a few times with her. i think she feels she needs to co-operate as such seen as she's new.

Thats fair enough as you don't want to make a bad impression, but the should respect her as well as she's new.
