FS/FT Xbox 360 20gb Drive Faulty

Basically I bought this drive off a sellar on here, it was working now and then, he generously refunded me without question. I am now selling the drive as I bought a replacement off here, as I only needed a 20gb for saving games. Not really interested in much content.

The drive has been opened. To check whether anything was wrong, nothing is wrong with casing or the input/output cables. So they could be worth to someone trying to use the casing for another drive.

The drive itself does not work on its side, works standing up only and makes a bit of a clicking sound on boot. From the knowledge I have of hard drives i'd say the drive is failing internally.

I have had the drive booting first time 70% of the time.

So please feel free to offer.

Eh?

Am I reading correctly?

You bought something off someone on here and it was faulty so they refunded, and you are now selling the same item?

Yes. They refunded me as the drive was failing. The drive is failing. I have been clear on that. I have priced it up for the casing really. Would be a waste to bin that.

So the funds you receive will be going to the original person?

I suppose I never thought it of it like that. I will take my postage out of it, and give the guy the rest

Sorry Mike.

No worries mate, just seen those guides on the net knocking around that show you how to add a 120gb HDD to the case so it could have been fixed.
I currently have an old dead xbox that I am going to try and mod the case for, would have been nice to make a matching HDD, but not too worry, am sure a cheapish 20gb will turn up at some point, just have to be patient, lol.

Sorry man, I thought along that line at one point the hassle margain was a bit high for me.
So thought sell the drive and let someone else have the chance.
Just waiting on OP of the drive to reply to send him funds.

lol @ snow :p
Lucky you, it just shows how messed up this country is, you have snow, whilst I have a nice hot day, when I went in to town around 12, I had to wear sunglasses and strolled around in just a short sleeved shirt, oh the wonders of living on the east coast :p

read the PM you send Adam before seeing this thread. You didnt have to refund me the money. I sent the original Xbox in good faith and if I had known that there was a problem with the drive I would have either told you this or reduce the cost assordingly. As it stood I refunded an anount we both agreed on for the faulty drive but did not expect you to give me anything back for it.

Anyway, its a nice gesture and will be accepted with open arms (need all the paypal money I can get at the moment!).

Thanks again
