m8 is the quality any good ?
are u open to offer's or is it £60 bottom line
#3
to be honest until recently i hardly used it cos ive got an archos av700tv, but the other night i tried out some new software to convert videos and the quality is really good. the mp3 player sound quality isn't brilliant as it doesnt have an equalizer option but is certainly very listenable. ive got an episode of trailer park boys and an episode of louis theroux on it at the mo and it is very watchable. im not sure how it looks when connected to output to a tv though but will try it out later
i think £60 all in is a very good price for it anyway mate
#4
what i want to do in convert video's to xvid
and also use it to record direct from my tv
if u can let me no if it play's divx and also the quality of tv recording's im interested
#5
Thanks for the piccies donnydude :-D
#6
i can try the tv recording in a bit. got guests at the mo so cant try but will let you know when i do.
it only plays mp4 in .asf format so it will record from tv directly into that format. the arcsoft mediaconverter it comes with will convert it to xvid though

my archos av700tv will play xvid and divx no problem though. and the quality is very impressive. the recordings direct from tv are perfect copies and it also has built in freeview tv which you can directly record from
obviously its a bit more expensive though!

just need to no what its like quality wise
#12
give me half an hour or so mate. just sorting out tea for the kids right now. need to find my scart adaptor with the input outpul selector. tried outputting video the tv and its not bas quality but leave it with me and ill sort it. would be ideal just for flights anyway
#13
pitty i dont have £225 as i do like the other 1 but there aint no way in hell the missus will let me lol
#14
any trades your after?

MH arrived today. Cheers
#15
ok cool karrina, sorry need cash for my new appartment bond thats why i'm selling my beloved gadgets!
just sorted it dub, to be honest, i'm really impressed with the quality of the tv recording. it has 3 different recording settings, long play, short play and high quality and i cant really tell the difference between any. the long play is really good quality. i tried to take a pic but it might not show very well cos of the flash and rubbish camera

#16
would u take £50 m8 if so ill take it and just keep it either way
u no the format it plays did u say it was mp4
#17
it plays mp4 but in a format called .asf i have downloaded some software called arcsoft mediaconverter which converts from just about any format into it anyway. the software that originally came with it was absolutely diabolical and didnt even work on vista but this software is pretty good quality and pretty quick
because you are a long standing trust worthy member i will sell it to you for £50 if you can add postage on top. i reckon no more than a £6 should cover it. but i would need bank transfer really. would that be a problem?
#18
i might even consider buying it back off you in a few weeks if you werent completely satisfied with it. i never used it for video cos i use my archos but i am impressed with it! just need some money for my appartment bond at the mo
#19
BT would be fine would u trust me to pay on delivery as i was gonna use credit card through paypal
but i geuss BT would be better for you due to fee's etc
#20
can i ask what u used it was it just mp3's
#21
i would normally accept paypal no problem but i really do need the cash as soon as possible or i will lose the appartment i want. i would prefer payment up front to be honest with you. you know i'm not a fly by nighter on these forums and have good feedback.
#22
i used to use it for mp3's and as a portable hard drive
#23
ok m8 ddint notice your feedback to be honest lol
ok what bank u with and do u no what delivery method u would use
#24
ok mate. i'm with halifax or the mrs is with cooperative
i would send whatever delivery with royal mail would insure it for the full ammount signed for. think it is special delivery
#25
another really useful feature of it is that you can stick an sd card in from a camera and transfer your pictures over to it and view the pics on the unit, giving you more space on your sd card
#26
yea special be great m8
ok i no from past problems (with a trade on here) that i went into halifax gave them the lads details and they said i had to deposit it via the envelope and would do it directly there and then
is that ok m8 ?
#27
yeah that would be great cos then it goes straaight into my account. you dont have to use the envelopes to deposit it though. they just say that usually if there is a big queue. if you go to the cashier to do it, you can check with them that you have my correct details (my name matches my account)
#28
where are you from by the way dub? i'm in doncaster
#29
im in london m8
im 99% sure they wont let me direct deposit as they have a rule in most london branches ive seen which is no counter services for transactions under £300
if u can pm me all details needed and i think u need my home number etc
#30
ok must be different up north (we're a lot friendlier up here):-D
