This is a nice little timepiece for enthusiasts and collectors, made by the british company Smiths. In fine working order, can be manually adjusted for accuracy by taking off the back plate. It currently loses about 5mins a day, but it is after all nearly 40 years old.
I'm looking for offers in the region of £25 delivered for this.

What metal is it made from?

Does it come with a case?

I'll offer £20 incl P&P if you send recorded delivery & it comes in a case.

The case is stainless steel, and I can send it recorded. It does not include a display case but it has a very satisfying tick
#4
ok £20?

Are you prepared to pay £20.75 to cover the rec'd component? I would have used rec'd by default for the asking price, but at £20 i'd have chosen to send first class as it's covered up to £40 anyway.
All these extras nibble at the proceeds, thats why I stay away from ebay whenever possible. £20.75 by pp gift, and i'll use a nice box with padding to send?

That is a lovely looking little watch.
Always love the idea and design of a pocket watch, but they just aren't practical!

£20 1st class is fine. Recorded delivery isn't that great anyway, and it just means I'll have to go to the sorting office to collect as I'm never in when the postman calls!
Just 1 last question - is the condition good? I.e. is it very scratched?
PM me your payment details & I'll send it to you. I don't like paypal gift, are you OK with non-gift paypal payment?

I'd rather use gift mate, just look at my feedback for re-assurance. I don't want to pay fees to paypal, you will deffo get the watch fine
Yeah, rec'd is just 79p for nowt really, a waste of money.
There are merely usual signs of pocket wear on the back of the watch, no worse than you will see on the back of an ipod really. There are no dents or nicks. It is as good as you will see in a 40yo pocket watch. I'll PM you now mate.
