Nearly new Samsung j600 on 02 excellent condition only one very faint scratch on the back, hasnt been used at all, scratch must just be from handling etc.

Comes with brand new 02 sim card, handsfree kit, manuals and cd's all boxed,.

Looking for £45 delivered

Nice looking phone Stacey...Not looking for one myself...Personally ....I'd hold out for the asking price...If not I'd keep it in a drawer until......:)

What network is it on, or is it unlocked?
Was it a PAYG phone, or a contract upgrade?
Is PayPal ok?

(question repeated in this thread as I'm after two phones to take to the States in a few weeks, and I'm interested in both)

Its unlocked, it was locked to 02 but we got it unlocked and have never used it!! I bought it as a present for my dad but someone else had already bought him one!! :roll:

Its PAYG too and yes would take paypal if you cover fees, could also do bank transfer or cheque.

The Post Office haven't tried to deliver it, and the tracking number won't show anything until it's been signed for by someone.

I dont know what the next step should be? I know you can claim back a certain amount from royal mail after a certain amount of time but im unsure of the timescales etc.
This item was definately sent, i have the recepit here with the tracking number etc.
Shall we give it another couple of days and see if anything happens?
Maybe you should try your royal mail depot just incase they have tried but didnt leave a card??

I'll leave it another couple of days; Friday's the latest I want to leave it, as I didn't want to leave it too late to try to get another phone to take on holiday the following week.

Have you chekced with your royal mail depot just incase they have tried to deliver but not left a card?
I cant think what else can have happened,

I've phoned a couple of times now, and this morning the bloke I spoke to informed me that I should advise you that it's not been delivered, as anything posted 1st class signed for should be delivered next day/the day after, and definately by now seeing as it was posted on the 18th/19th, so you should begin a claim procedure as there was nothing left over from previous deliveries.

No card was left, as it would have been deliverd with the normal post, so my postie would have been able to access my block of flats to leave one if neccessary (normal courier services such as Citylink can't, as it's a locked main entrance)

Can you please refund my payment, and I'll try to get another phone from somewhere.

I have spoken to Royal Mail myself today who confirmed it has not been received yet. They said there is nothing on their system. Aparantley they are waiting for your local depot to receive it and when they do it will update on their system to say its ready for dispatch. I have to wait until the 7th July before i can even start claim porceedings because as far as theyre concerned it is still going to be delivered.

Therefore i cannot refund you until i have received the compensation from Royal Mail as i would be out of pocket and you cousl receive it in the meantime.


The man i spoke to on the phone was very apologetic, explaining that normally it would take 5 days max and he was very sorry and just to keep checking online.

There is nothing more i can do until 7th July other than keep checking online each day to see if the status has changed.

ILet me know if you do receive it in the meantime.

It will say it on their system which is why ive got to keep ringing up.
It will only say online when you have actually signed for it.
I cant give you a refund until i find out exactly whats going on with the delivery, whether its lost or just delayed.
Im sure you would do the same in a situation like this.
Like i said i will keep checking with Royal Mail to see if there has been any progression but I cant start tryin to get compensation until the 7th July and unfortunately i cant give you a refund until i get the money through from them.
I can assure you it has definately been sent, i get the feeling you dont even think ive sent it.
I have the receipt with post office stamp on to prove it alon gwith the tracking number. You cant go blaming me for it when really its not my fault, I sent it 1st Class Recorded as we agreed this is the Post Offices Problem which i will sort as soon as possible. Until then im sorry but we will both just have to wait and see what they say.

Ive got the claim form in the house. Thought id wait til you got back from holiday to see if it had been delivered in the mean time, Will fill out the form tonight and send it off.
Insurance will only pay out £36 so thats all i will be able to refund otherwise i would be out of pocket then.

The more I think about this, the more I'm thinking why the hell should I be out of pocket?

I paid for goods that didn't arrive, why should I lose money while you have my full payment?

I would like a full refund of the money I paid you, or I will instigate a chargeback with Paypal.

i think in all fairness 10bellies should get a full refund and the OP will have to wait for the funds to be returned to him from the claim form, OP is responsible for item being sold and dispatched and shouldn;t be the buyer who has to suffer who an item being lost in the post.

i suggest you start chasing them up, as I'm not prepared to wait much longer before begining action to get my money back.
