Sony Handycam HC40E for sale - bought it with good intentions and its still sitting in the box with the tags on ,never used !! Also with 2 Panasonic sealed tapes.:)
Would now like to sell it to fund myself a Laptop.
Thought i would have a clearout of all my gadgets i no longer have need of , as i also have a Pink Motorola Peble phone -used 2-3 times still with plastic on screen , all cables and charger as new with box, a samsung e500 as new boxed with charger and no doubt other stuff when i sort it out!!:)
I am looking at £ 150 + postage for the camcorder and around £50 +postage for phone (thats signed for and insured delivery )
Aso got a Panasonic HC2 faulty DVD Recorder (hard drive seems to have gone , but it will still play dvds and its multi-region- immaculate condition ) Any offers will consider for this.
I have no idea how to upload pics as this is my first day on here:?
But i do have pics as if no-one is interested i will put them on ebay -if anyone wishes to contact me for pictures (or tell me how to upload them - i will oblige)
Thanks a lot

I tried this but not very tecnically minded.
When i clicked on properties it just gave me a summary ????

I think it may be easier to email them to someone whose interested - i can do that ok !!
I can also give them my contact number and address - i am in Lincolnshire .
Sorry everyone ,
I havd had no luck with the image posting .
I am off to bed now , so think it best for anyone interested in anything to send me a message and i will email them the images of items they are interested in.
Everything is in immaculate condition- i just didn't understand how to upload the pics - maybe because its getting late !!!!!!!!!
Thanks for help ,even though i was too dense to do it !!

It can be a bit awkward until you get the hang of it.
Thankyou for the help everyone -will post more pics tomorrow (or Rayman will for me -thankyou very much)
See you all tomorrow.
Does the handycam have any warranty left?

What county are you in?

No,there is no warranty , but its only ever been switched on when i first bought it and then put away again , so there should be nothing wrong with it at all.
Sorry, forgot -i am in Lincolnshire in the UK.
I may be interested in a trade (if you are).......
The rules state you have to give a price for the broken Panasonic DVD recorder...any pics of that please?
Yes i will have one on later i hope as i emailed them a few minutes ago to Rayman to put on for me.
I was looking at around £50 i think- but open to offers.
Just going to put them on here for you, sorry I was busy elsewhere :)

Looking about £20 + postage for the E700- thats also like new !
Sorry may sound a bit thick but what makes it better?
I really don't know as i am not technically minded myself- i am going on what these are selling for now .
There are ones on ebay for £220 buy it now and they were refurbished whereas this is brand new. I paid over £350 for it !
I suppose you could look at the sony website for HC40E CAMCORDER.
I bought it as it was the best recommended buy, in one of the camcorder magazines -it came top for all the things on it, nightshots , zoom, lens ,still camera ,ease of use, long lasting battery etc.
Can't tell you anymore as i have never used it and now want to buy a laptop so looking to sell it.
Ps :
Its also a small , neat and compact design, and fits in a camera pouch.
If anyone wants to look on www.personalcomputerworld- this is over £400 on there and you can read the review !
Found this online too .
A DV camcorder with touchscreen LCD technology.

The DCR-HC40E also manages to address many of the points we found lacking in the more basic model. Still photos can be taken at higher resolutions (1,152 x 864 pixels) and are stored on a Memory Stick Duo card rather than on tape.

More importantly, perhaps, for prospective desktop video editors is the inclusion of a bidirectional Firewire socket and analogue input. Interestingly, the DCR-HC40E can be used as a conduit from an analogue video source directly to your computer without having to record to DV tape. This pass-through feature will be useful for anyone looking to digitise large amounts of analogue recordings, since it won't inflict any unnecessary wear on the camcorder's moving parts.

It?s not quite up there with the three-chip Panasonic model or the Canon MVX250i, but the DCR-HC40E?s picture shows a marked improvement on the DCR-HC18E, with lively colours and sharp edges outdoors .
